 will do Fay! I hope nothing got blown down. Yoga.... I love the sound of it, but at the mo, I'm still flinching away from doing anything physical I don't *have* to do, like washing up and whatnot - this lurgy gave me such a good whack, I'm very wary of getting back on the horse.

And, y'know even so, I don't refer to myself as an oldie anywhere but on here!

I'd like to know who you complain to about such things! :D Hope you are feeling OK today and still up for grabbing all those challenges with both hands :)

 If I find out who to complaint to, I'll post it on here :)

I *am* still up for the challenges - its just that I do have some physical limitations. But some of the challenges would mean sidestepping those completely - so, bring it on.

How are you today? Your diary hasn't come up in my User CP yet - I'll keep an eye out.

Hi El! tbh, kc world has turned upside down the last couple of months. I think I can see my way through, but it'll be a bit of a squeeze. I just love what you wrote on your thread, tho, about finding something that you so love, gives you a warm feeling, doesn't it.

    xx

You'll get there - and you know your limitations so you can work round them.

yes kc it really does ...i honestly feel alive ...i have been a happy person for years but this is a whole new feeling ...its like i have something to go for ...i know it wont be easy i know it will be hard ...but to know you are working for the greater good of this beautiful planet and its inhabitants ...that beats all the volunteer work i have ever done (and ive done load)

sometimes it's only when we have the tight squeezes in life that we realise what is good, important, and means alot for us ...after the squeezes hit us we sit back and realise so much about ourselves we didnt know ...we realise we are stronger than we thought we realise were better than we thought and we realise whats important in our lives ...and we learn sooo much about ourselves ...

some of my biggest persoanl development stages in my life have came from pressure, stress, pain and squeezing

good luck kc i know it will work out for the best

What a lovely post, El. I'm glad you've put it on here, thank you. I'm going to keep referring back to that, I'm sure.

Well, I guess when the universe told me 20-odd years ago that I'd always have enough, it wasn't kidding. I was expecting the usual tax bill of just over a couple of grand - but it seems that my income going down has really had an effect on it. I've just paid the princely sum of £143.42! And thats it. Good lord! Paradoxically, it means the financial situation isn't nearly as bad as I thought it was.
