ITC Legal Services - Avoid Them

Or just pick ANY case at random, contact the poor, brow-beaten customer and listen to their response. I guarantee that it will be exactly the same from whoever you pick!
As a matter of interest, it was the "Customer Relations" department who phoned me with a satisfaction questionaire, AFTER my case was signed off. So you are clearly aware of the problems anyway!
And my complaints were never sorted when I complained over and over again. I just got good old fashioned lip service. It is so hard to deal with it all when in a deep state of emotional turmoil and grief. The same old problems occured over and over again that it became so absolutely unbelievable. One can make allowances for a few mistakes but over and over and over again?0 -

After reading the forum I am now desperate for someone to help me. I only appointed TLC on the 19 January 2010, to date I have only received two letters and most of my correspondence has gone astray. I have spent the last week continually phoning them but keep getting passed from one member of staff to the other. They have been sending my documentation to the wrong place and then requesting me to send further copies. What I have read about this company on the Forum is nothing short of a horror story, and now I have joined the ranks. Does anyone know if I can get out of this contract, if so, by what means? They haven't done any work for me as such except to appoint an RICS surveyor to value my sister's property because the valuation was not acceptable. I have written to Trading Standards but do not hold out much hope as they are rather long winded in replying. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
And here is a perfect example that changes have not been made. Calamity 37 only appointed ITC approximately 6 weeks ago and already the same old, same old problems rears it ugly head with lost documentation, and no one at ITC taking a real personal interest in getting the client sorted and reassured that they (ITC) are on top of it and dealing with everything efficiently and professionally. My stomach sinks just knowing that this is still going on when clients are at their emotional lowest. I spent many hours crying and crying and crying as felt so helpless and no one cared. My mother was just a case number to ITC and I was just a name on a piece of paper.0 -

..........(Jackportd) "Hi guy
I definitely say that its about time an undercover journo got on the inside and revealed to the tv watching nation how unregulated probate companies like ITC can use the word 'lawyers' but the customer does not realise that they will be in a position of complete vulnerability.
What you think?" ..........

Perhaps the phone line has gone down due to such high call volume!
Or maybe she's gone to visit the probate office for a while!!
...Or has Martin Trees sacked her for meddling in his "smooth operation"?Note to Self: When posting, remember to keep within "forum rules" to avoid upsetting other "interested parties"0 -
On one occasion that i rang ITC, I was so annoyed that I told them I would stay on the phone until the particular issue was resolved, I was on a car journey for a couple of hours and had nowhere to go! The young man offered to put me through to "The Customer Relations Department" but after trying told me that he couldn't because she was on the phone! When i questioned the size of the Department, he told me that the other member of staff was on off!! It doesn't surprise me that no one can get through to Jessica, if she exists; there are only two members of staff in the hub of this operation. Given the number of complaints her colleague is probably off with stress!!

And the company claim to be the largest probate firm in the UK ? Maybe the company has problems hiring staff as the reputation of ITC's practices are becoming common knowledge in the working sector. I wonder what experiance you need to work for this company? (I feel a lot of suggestions about to hit this forum!!!!!!!)0 -

From a link in a previous post I read the blog of a new member of staff at ITC, who is "developing" ITC's "dedicated probate software". He used to work in a company that makes paper hats!!! I'M ONLY SORRY THAT I'M NOT JOKING!
He got the offer of the job 2 hours after his interview and claims to have had to find out what probate meant as he didn't know before the interview!!!
Now that's a class act isn't it?:eek:Note to Self: When posting, remember to keep within "forum rules" to avoid upsetting other "interested parties"0 -

Hi, Calamity 37. I’m very sorry, I’ve checked and there was a problem with the line. It is now definitely working, so please call me on 0800 082 1139 (9-5 Monday to Friday), or send me an email at customer.relations@itclegal.com and I’ll call you back. Thanks, Jessica.0
