Did you learn anything new today, Krystal, with your tutor visiting? :) Just wondering if anything else had changed in a confusing fashion, not that you need to learn anything more - hope you see what I mean! :D

Pampers users.. I'm confused (doesn't take much!). I noticed earlier that you can get Baby Dry in Size 2. We've just changed from using New Baby Size 1 to New Baby Size 2. Is there an advantage/disadvantage to moving to Baby Dry Size 2 instead?

Ok my random question of the day, what age do toddlers/kids start using crayons and drawing/scribbling? My sister in law tried giving elliot one but so far he just wants to eat it! :) So excited over daft things like this as i'm arty myself.

Weezl - as a money making side line what about nicking THIS idea? I love how they look and I'm sure it wouldn't cost much to make ?? some of my class made teddies in textiles lessons and it certainly took them less time than it took me to make a simple dress!

ooooh how cute! I shall set to work! :) Thanks ;)

You're trained as a teacher aren't you? D'you think that makes you feel more confident about homeschooling?
I think I would have been fairly confident about the actual teaching anyway but it does mean I feel more confident about being able to prove I am doing a decent job if need be.

I slowly stopped posting as much because i couldn't join in/help/advise with breastfeeding problems etc and now Elliot is a bit older, i feel as if im getting in the way of newer moms needing help/don't want to fill the pages with random chat/rubbish!
That doesn't stop the rest of us. And anyway your rubbish might be useful for other people.

And I gave her advice relating to looking after herself and said my husband would have sectioned me etc etc etc and she then explained why they had decided to have them this close and then I expressed my views on having children that close - it's an open forum at the end of the day. I expressed a view on something I happen to feel very strongly about and wasn't abusive or rude - I do firmly believe having children too closely together puts too much demand on the mums body to provide for itself and a baby - as I said - that's MY view, not medical nor universal belief.
I realise you probably didn't intend it to come across the way it did but telling someone that you think a short gap doesn't "give the baby the best chance" just after they've announced a pregnancy with a short gap is pretty much like saying, "I think you have been irresponsible and done something which is bad for your baby." Again, you probably didn't intend it to sound like that but that's how it came across.
Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.
