Have had a productive day today. Got LO weighed and he is now 16lb 9oz.
Went and did the weekly shopping and came in under budget. Have made snickers cookies and corned beef hash(meat version for DH & veggie version for me) Sitting down and having 5 mins before i need to wash the pots and give LO his tea!To all those who are drooling including Rhys and my LO I can testify that the cookies are yummy! DH was most impressed
Can we have the cookie recipe please? They sound lush!0 -

I have read so much that I forgot to quote so i'll see what i can remember....
Weezl, there are 18 months between my oldest 2. It was obviously a long time ago and i was much younger then( they are 17 and 15) but they are so close, even now, that i am so pleased that i had them close. I feel that as there is 15 years between Rose and my youngest, that even tho they both adore her, she will more or less fell like an only child and not have that bond.
Susan, I really think people that home school are amazing. I sadly feel as tho i dont have the experience in the necessary subjects to do this myself, which in turn makes me feel as tho im letting Rose down by not able to provide this for her. I think state education is great if you have a bright child but is sadly lacking if you have a child which will struggle. I had one of each and they have both very different experiences of school.
Elle, Rose was 12lb 13oz at her last weigh in and we are still using Pampers New Baby, size 3. I am FF her and have found them fine.
MM, well done Dylan, so glad all your hard work pays off.
Feelie, hope you feel a bit better and can find alternatives/ second opinions.
Im sure there was so much more. Hugs to those is need xDS Anthony Steven 07.06.92DD Becky Emma 24.01.94DD Rose Grace Jean 12.05.090 -

here it is:
1/4 of a 250g pack of butter
4 tbsp sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 cups (6oz) of flour
2 finely chopped snickers
1) melt butter gently
2) add sugar to butter mix and allow to cool slightly
3) add flour, beaten egg and snickers to butter mixture
4) spoon mixture onto baking tray leaving a gap
between each cookie
5) place in oven at 190 degrees (170 fan oven) for around 15-20 mins
6) take out and allow to cool - unless like me you can't wait an have to eat warm/hot!!
Enjoy:D
Sorry, have only just seen this, so ignore my post from a few minutes ago
ETA: and I've just seen Elle's post saying that. I really should catch up completely before replying to posts

Have you seen this Elle http://direct.asda.com/Lindam-Bounce-About/002651819,default,pd.html. I want one!!! Mum said she'll buy one for Christmas, but she would give it to us before so Caitlin can start using it. That's obviously really sensible but I'm a bit sad that she will be having a Xmas pressie before Xmas. I know that's stupid of me. The description says from three months (which will be the end of Sept). I guess they just need to be able to hold their head up to go in it. Is that right?0 -
Searching sorry you have had a bad day chick. Just ignore them and keep your chin up :-) xx:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0
