New Baby Size 1 at 4-11lb and Size 2 are 6-13lb. Rhys is 7lb 5.5oz now and Size 2 are much better on him  And he's only got a skinny little bum - quite comical, in fact! :rotfl: :o I suppose he might last out to six months in New Baby whilst he's still exclusively breastfed (well, fingers crossed!) with him only being dinky.. :) Only ten weeks to go til thinking about starting weaning!

I have just entered Dylan in the beautiful babies competition for babies'r'us :) Wish him luck xx

Good luck Dylan! I entered Caitlin in it yesterday! I saw it advertised on the latest mailing and thought it was worth a go. However, I don't think she'll do too well cos in most of her photos she's either crying or asleep :D
    What a day so far!!
Then I smashed a mirror - Oh well whats another 7years of bad luck
Went by Tesco - had no black beans
Went to Lidl - Spent £19 and no black beans. I have everything else, but no black beans, what could I use instead? It's a mexican dish. I have berlotti?!
On way home from Lidl, their crappy bags snaps, and 4 of my 10 eggs break :(
Get in the building, BOTH OF THE LIFTS ARE BROKEN, so had to climb 8 flights of stairs, with my really sore arm, holding heavy bags, including pop and potatoes.
Walked in the door and was like !!!!!!, the cats have scratched open the bag of their biscuits and there is BISCUITS EVERYWHERE in my hall.

I just knocked over my doritos and when I went to get the dustpan to sweep it up, the kitten had stole my kitkat finger.

This is all that mirrors fault!

Oh bless you chicken. I know I shouldn't laugh but I did :o. It sounds like the kinda day that happens to me. I haven't told you all about Caitlin's 6wk check on Tuesday yet when similar kind of stuff happened to me...will type that up in a bit.

Question: Tell me how you feel about this (Try to control me boy you get dismissed :p)
I want to get Edgar Christened in the next couple of months,
I got all the 3-6mth clothing out last night for Ed and turns out the outfit Chris wore for his (at 8mths!) was 3-6mth size.
ignoring MSE reasons do I use it again for Ed or get him his own outfit?

    Its this outfit http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=253689&l=c171f67002&id=541141775

I think that outfit is very cute and funky. I'd deffo use it again.

I'm eating dinner, btw :D Tuna pasta bake..

Have also spoken to the carpet people and we're on for Thursday morning. Sami, I think it would have been about £100 for that coir matting (110x200cm), but they've only charged me £45 due to saving on the carpet we're having the coir matting instead of, iyswim.

My parents called in with my Nan who brought long sleeve vests for Rhys - perfect :D

    did you get my txt?
thanks for coir info (and reminding me of it's proper name!)
are the vests plain? I want some patterned/coloured ones but not seen any yet, tesco usually have them but they all still short sleeved

I've been looking in Tesco for ages for long sleeved ones and all they have is short sleeved. I ended up buying these ones from Boots on Wednesday http://minimode.co.uk/baby-3-pack-long-sleeve-bodysuits but they're plain white. I want some funky coloured ones too. Although I must stop spending. Everytime I go out, I buy Caitlin something and she already has plenty. On Wednesday, I bought her those vests, some tights (both of which she did actually need), plus a cute purple cardi and two tops fell into my trolley at Tesco.

I've bought a baby bjorn carrier today in the hope that I can carry her round and she'll be more settled. I went shopping today and had to stop four times in three hours to feed her as it was the only way she'd settle. I don't like walking round holding her when I'm out in case I trip or slip and drop her.

hey tia- we have bought that bouncer you recommended!!
    thanks very much
i will let you know, when its used how we get on. bought a play mat/gym as well so we can use the arch with the toys!

Good stuff, it's still Ambers fave, well the one she looks most comfy in. DS2 has stolen the link a doos toddler one, he loves it!

Lolly, a happy and relaxed mummy is all a baby needs :D

Elle active fit leak like mad (I found anyway) and the elastic kept snapping when I put them on, maybe I'm heavy handed? But my boys were skinny so I cant say the elastic was being stretched

DS2 has to turn the tv up because I'm using the pump, cheeky lil swine

Pampers users.. I'm confused (doesn't take much!). I noticed earlier that you can get Baby Dry in Size 2. We've just changed from using New Baby Size 1 to New Baby Size 2. Is there an advantage/disadvantage to moving to Baby Dry Size 2 instead?
they're more absorbent and cheaper :money:
I only use baby dry now. Chris is allergic to Active fit

I have absolutely no idea why I pressed the quote button on this one :o

Sling ladies, I think I've found us a venue, but we have to pay for it (it's so hard to find somewhere free so I found somewhere cheap instead!) basically it'll have to be £2 per session.
    oh well.

I'm happy to pay, anything to get off the house :)

They have plain white long sleeve in our Tesco but only starting at Newborn, not the Early Baby size I wanted :o

Really must find a Boots with a bigger Mini Mode section.. we only have two little stands in ours and I have a (10% off) voucher to use too! ;)

I've with you on the stopping spending tho.. I've got so much 7.5lb stuff that he's not going to get chance to wear it all, I don't think :( Going to go "browsing" with my sis in Asda on Wednesday for 9lb things..
