I would of died!! Seriously. I think I would of probably fainted or stroked right there.

You know I never used to be scared of them probably a combination of seeing my mum flapping around when one came near, or maybe that one time a friend hit a wasp ad it landed on the top of my head and became entangled in my hair. I could feel it's angry buzzing on my head and I was running outside the pizza place SCREAMING, until some guy hit it out my head. I was crying with that!
  • A lot of the older (not in age) members of this thread seem to feel like they don't fit in any more. Sorry if you feel us newbies have pushed you out, we just jumped in as we didnt know anyone over here and if we hadnt we would have been the ones left out !! I know there are a lot of us on here now, and that it moves a lot faster than it used to, but no catching up is needed, just jump in, thats what we were all told :)

I was only thinking recently that alot of the original members don't post anymore :(.

I don't post/read as much as I did as I don't have the time anymore as it moves so quickly nowadays! But when I return (like a bad penny ;)) I always try and read the last few pages just to [STRIKE]be nosey[/STRIKE] see what you have all been up to!

And you can't get rid of me that easily! :D

.. Have you seen this Elle http://direct.asda.com/Lindam-Bounce-About/002651819,default,pd.html. I want one!!! Mum said she'll buy one for Christmas, but she would give it to us before so Caitlin can start using it. That's obviously really sensible but I'm a bit sad that she will be having a Xmas pressie before Xmas. I know that's stupid of me. The description says from three months (which will be the end of Sept). I guess they just need to be able to hold their head up to go in it. Is that right?

I got one of these at a car boot sale on Sunday for £3!!. Rose did quite well in it but was tired after about 5 mins. Tried her in it another twice and think she's going a bit longer each time. Has a random bounce but hasnt yet got the hang of it x

The fairies have been very kind and delivered one today :D We've had a little go and, like angela has experienced with Rose, Rhys had a random bounce and looked rather bemused. Will try more soon, but I'm concsious of not having carpet down on one side of the doorway I want to use it in so it may have to wait until after Thursday.

..I only really get out to go shopping for an hour here n there and boobie group when I manage it.
We still haven't decided what to do, I'm still in denail about being in our house, we were supposed to be in a 3/4 bed semi now not still in the damp terrace :(

    *hugs*

One of my colleagues was asking earlier if I'd been to many groups but I said no cos we were told to avoid them because of the swine flu thing. Think I might as the nurses again on Monday if they think we can start going now since Rhys has had a while to prove he's stronger now.

Does anyone remember a while back my friend Graham was arrested in Cape Verde?

He's been arrested again. In the Democratic Republic of Congo.

    QUOTE].

Strangely enough, we have carpet one the living room side of the door and lino the other side. Rose keep lifting her feet off the lino side and trying to stay on the carpet. We also have halogen lights in the kitchen and she loves to watch them. Cheap entertainment!! :rotfl:

Was it skinty who wanted footless babygros? I was soooooo tempted to buy this the other day... Might go back and get it yet... http://direct.asda.com/george/baby-clothes/boys/all-in-one-sleepsuit/GEM18031,default,pd.html

    That is gorge!

I'm not sure I really "get" footless baby grows. We were bought a fabulously funky one the other week (this one but in pink and purple stripes) but I thought it was a daytime romper suit (because it didn't have feet) but someone told me it was a sleepsuit.

Do you put socks on your baby's feet when they wearing footless ones?
