When I was at school it was socially unacceptable to speak to someone you knew in a higher year unless they spoke to you first and I generally find it easier to talk to people close to my own age and younger and harder to talk to people who are older.)

Just wanted to add to that bit. I know how you feel as it was like that when I was at school. However the primary that the boys have been at encourage all the children to mix together regardless of age. When you go into reception, you get assigned a "special friend" from Year 6. It's just someone you can go to if you have problems in the playground etc., and the big ones take the little ones into lunch for the first few weeks and stuff like that.

Both the boys have had a mix of different aged friends through the school. Joshua is in secondary school now and he mixes with older children on the bus. He's currently he's calling on the girl over the road and a boy in the next street as they're new starters. It was until they got used to getting the bus, but they seem happy all going together.

Probably not make much difference to you Susan given all your other reasons, but I thought I'd my bit on for anyone else who was wondering!

Must be getting nappies at Charlotte's PR meeting as the lady emailed me and asked what her nappy size is :D
Here I go again on my own....

  • lolly, if it's not a problem for you... Then It's not a problem :) like the others have said, you don't get backlash on here for choosing your own paths... If I can help in any way give me a shout... If you find you're getting engorged after you stop pumping then express a little just to ease the discomfort and take ibuprofen or paracetamol if it's painful... A nice bath and hot flannels on them helps too...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
