I like there being new Mums, means I can actually help by posting ideas and sharing my experience. When I was the newest, I felt like it was just me asking for help. I like to be able to give back, whilst still getting help from older members. I also like the random chat.

Main thing I like is just hearing how everyone is getting on. I like updates about babies, as well as how everyone is feeling. Absolutely everyone can talk about themselves and the babies, so absolutely everyone should post about that!

exactly how i feel ... couldnt of worded it better myself feelie ... i dont have many if any friends i can turn to and just talk from nappies to if im feeling poo and just want to rant ... so without you lovely lot i think i would of lost my sanity a long long time ago x

I slowly stopped posting as much because i couldn't join in/help/advise with breastfeeding problems etc and now Elliot is a bit older, i feel as if im getting in the way of newer moms needing help/don't want to fill the pages with random chat/rubbish!

Nononono random chat away! Please

feely, have you ever tried pilates or yoga? you could learn from a dvd, there are even ones to do with a baby. I'm always hearing that pilates especially is great for relieving back pain long term xx

Should I stay over at mums tonight? if I do should I take the mosesB or use the travel cot (that has a bassinet level)

  • Yes Sami, I recommend the travel cot and bassinet... Have you tried Ed with a bottle again since the first time? Any chance of Mummy doing the night feed and letting you get a full night in? lol...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

    I think I will :D
not given him another bottle, I really should tho!
He doesn't wake most nights, any tiredness is usually self inflicted  but mum will make sure I get to bed, will most likely need to pump while there tho but can do that on my own in [STRIKE]my[/STRIKE] the guest room

  • I've not bothered trying Caitlyn again either... It's not much of a problem to me if she won't take a bottle... We're never far from each other anyway...

I just got offered a free place at the baby friendly conference in bournemouth and I had to turn it down <sob>

And on other things... Caitlyn's wearing her Liverpool strip today... Should of seen the chav moms cooing over her at the school gate!

I for one love to hear about the older kids (and their mummys and daddys!) so I know what I have to look forward to ie potty training, weaning, walking, teething, more sleepless nights etc.

I dont always have much to add but I contribute when I can.

I'm off to the bump to baby fair tomorrow and my lovely hubby is coming with me. http://www.bumptobabyfair.com/welcome.php

Feelie - sorry your appointment was disappointing. Give your little man an extra big cuddle x

On the issue of age gaps, there is 14 months between me and my older brother and I cant say we are that close but that is more down to our personalities and perhaps being different genders. However, he has always been able to confide in me (especially with stuff relating to our parents). My other brother is 12 years younger than me and he is my little baby and we are very very close but then that is probably because I have had a big hand in his upbringing.

I would love another one now but on a practical level I need to wait 2 years until I can trade in my Smart car!

Leila is currently sticking her feet in my mouth. In baby world this is apparently hilarious!
Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j
