I don't know how some of you manage to catch up after a few days, it's taken me ages from last night!
Checked out BMI on Mrs T's link, spot on 26 so a little way to go. I did get into my jeans a few weeks ago but a little tight, hence the boyfriend cut. Need to get some more tomorrow so will have to build myself up for the hour drive to Next!
Hope Fergie starts to feel a bit better soon. X
Fingers crossed Caz. XXX
(((Hugs))) Buttons, not a nice way to be feeling about yourself. Hope you can talk to your GP. X :AToo many children, too little time!!!0 -

Wouldn't think shipping would be part of the value of the order though?0 -
Oooh listen to Radio 2 now... talking about adding things to babies bottles to get them to sleep ie Piriton etcMum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0

Woohoo, 40mls expressed!!! :j:j:j:j 30 from one side, 10 from the other. Thats good for me. And very quick, so I am waiting 5 and pumping again (Amber sometimes feeds like that)
Weezl, maybe you can explain this to me, DH was told that DS2 was starved of oxygen for 11 seconds, but as I was under general (or sedated, I found out I was kept asleep for 36 hours) I wan't there for the conversation. How can they put a time on oxygen deprivation?? Was a section if that helps. I'm guessing that the placenta fully detatched before they got him breathing on his own?
Only thinking about because I got a bit upset in town. Seen a guy who I have seen around (he is a lefty hemi, so same condition as DS2, I notice these things) but today I heard him talking. He talks just like Christopher and so it hit me that he may not talk any better when he is older, then the 'special school' thing hit me and now I feel a bit down. Combined with me talking to his friend who is younger and speaks great. I tend to avoid children the same age as DS2 for that reason.
Unfortunately he is having a nap because they were running about at nursery or I'd be hugging him.
oh crap there's the rubbish lorry and nobody has put my bin out for me0 -
Welcome Xmaslolly! Pics please!
congratulations!
Um! Pressure!
Ladies, you are collectively the loveliest bunch of people of ever, which is way more important than that other stuff anyway.
Real men enjoy a bit of curve and heft for cuddling*, and the idea of being bothered by a muffintop would never even occur to me. Having natural, normal bodies is a way, way better thing than matching a tabloid stereotype and perpetuating unreasonable expectations for the next generation (our babies!)!
If you are worried about health implications, by all means address your weight for that reason, but don't panic, and don't worry about what other people think - if they like you they will keep liking you!
Finally, you are all mums. You are doing a good job and the size of your jeans doesn't even sit in the same ballpark as your mothering.
Did that help?
*skinny mums, this does not mean we cannot enjoy cuddling you too! Because we can!
Basically men aint bothered so long as they get a cuddle?? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

We have no discretion to waive the import VAT under EU law and as soon as the £18 limit is exceeded, VAT is payable on the whole value of the package, including any postage and packing.

Button - I was just thinking about a mystery shop visit I did to a cosmetic surgery company for my pouch. The lady had a good poke about and showed me the skin they would cut of for a tummy tuck and went through prices. Then she asked if I'd finished having children. She said the procedure weakens your stomach, so if you were to have another pregnancy, it could cause complications. Not prying into your future child plans, but it might be something to consider if you are thinking about having any more.xmaslolly76 wrote: »Quick question about the post natal bleeding ive never faced it before as i retained my placentas so had to have d&c's so only bled for a day or two at most very lightly. Im getting through at least 6 pads a day and they are saturated with what looks like fresh blood is that normal only been getting a couple of very small clots. Its all so different as with the other two until they did the d&C i was passing tennis ball sized clots :-)x
Nice to meet you and congrats xx
I would mention it to your midwife or HV just in case.
I bled heavy for the first couple of days with all of mine. When I had my eldest, I'd been moved to a post natal ward and had a little sleep. When I woke up, the sheet and my nightie was saturated. I had a big panic but the midwife came and said it was perfectly normal! I'd been told at anti-natal classes that the bleeding was nothing more than a heavy period, so I'd just taken my usual Always pads in. The midwife kindly found a pack of maternity pads and let me use the phone to ring my Mam to ask her to bring more inHere I go again on my own....0 -
ooh hello Lolly I missed ur post, is Joey 'just' joey or really a Joseph?
Tia as a layman, 11 seconds does sound most random - I mean can't babies hold their breath about that long any way?0 -
