Thanks Sugar, I'll deffo ask for that, I'm sure once they actually realise the extent of the mental issues I have with it, they might reconsider.

It's crazy, I preferred myself when I was classed as morbidly obese because at least what you see is what you get with that, I feel like I'm a nicely decorated present, and when you rip the paper off you are getting a big dissapointment.

When you are bigger, people see that and kinda know what to expect if you know what I mean? I was a lot happier back then, OH says I've changed, I'm always snapping, miserable and emotional. It's true. I cry at the drop of a hat. I don't even let him sleep in the same bed as me, he sleeps in Keira's bed most of the time and her in with me, making a rod for my own back with that, but couldn't bear for him to see a saggy belly fall out my jimjams when im snoozing

The crazy thing is, I know fine he wouldn't care, he's always telling me I'm beautiful and trying to make me feel better, but it doesn't matter, because I don't feel like that, I feel repulsive.

I guess all I can do is wait until I hear back from the plastic surgeon, or should I ask to get some help before that? I could use some help, even on how to cope with my self image, I feel like people point and stare at me. Im going crazy!!
:grouphug: All I can offer you is a dodgy hug... And I kind of know how you feel... :)

All her hair is still on the top and the bottom, it's slightly thinner round the edges but not baldy... Just a little rubbed off... Don't think she'll lose any more...

Me however.. I'm shedding like there's no tomorrow! My hair's getting everywhere, every time I look at Caitlyn she's got some wrapped round her fingers (mixed in with the jam) or stuck to her cheek / in her mouth... Last night I actually pulled one out of her bum! It must of gone straight through her!!!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

  • Is sagginess really worse than obesity? I always imagined I'd be happy with a saggy body, if it were a thin body. Buttons - was size were you at your biggest?

Might've been better to set the building on fire after it was delivered? Think if all the good bits are gone by the time it arrives! Oh Toby here are your ashes :(
  • Lol @ Bruno.

Also where is MOTM? We need his appreciation of muffintops. Bruno, can you say some nice things in his absence?

Jeez, not sure what size I was because I refused to buy clothes, In my head I was still a size 18, that's what the trousers I was wearing said, but they were stretched out to the max, had basically lost all shape, they were a state. I remember going into evans and the size 22 wouldn't zip up, so probably a 24 minimum, but not on the top, I could wear a 20 on top.

    My BMI was about 43 I believe, I'm only 5ft 3 AND A HALF! Musn't forget the half :p

I always thought I wouldn't have saggy skin because I'm young, not true! To me, the skin is worse than being fat, nothing wrong with being fat if your healthy anyways, I was healthy, I just didn't like being overweight, but I'd rather be in that position now, than I am now. I look like a crinkled paper bag.
  • Aww buttons :( You could try writing down how you feel to tell the GP.

I doubt I'll ever been slim enough to have saggy skin.

Threadless.com has a $9 sale today, including on their kids' shirts. I just bought four little onesies because I was buying a present for my brother anyway ... and a shirt for me fell into my basket. Oops. Remember to have a maximum of 3 items per order to fall under the customs limit :)
How come it's 3 items for under the customs limit? Would it work out cheaper to do more than one order if I wanted a few things or just pay customs?

    I'm so dim :o
