Buttons, I've got a swim dress (and half the women on this thread now I think since I mentioned it last time lol) They're amazing for covering your belly up to go swimming... Don't think I could wear a normal cossie again!
Caitlyn's got the miseries... Won't feed to sleep, won't just sit and have a cuddle and won't go to sleep in her swing... I'm going to be forced to go out in a minute and I really don't want to... I have too much to do!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Buttonmoons, does the GP know the extent that your loose skin bothers you? He should be able to refer you to a psychologist who'll attest to your need for the procedure for your mental health. Ask if that's possible the next time and don't be tempted to downplay the effect it has on you.

The Doctors at my surgery don't seem to like you knowing names for things. Serious! I asked today for a high estrogen based contraceptive pill and he asked me how I knew that word!! I know I live in a crap area, but It doesn't mean we are all unintelligent people that just do as they are told and not question anything.
My arm throbs like mad now
I will appeal against the decision when it comes back though Weezl, and I will state all this.
I think the doctor today seen it all as a bit of a joke, the last doctor I saw was really nice and supportive (he was the one who sent off the referral) I let him see my stomach and he agreed it needed sorted and he even said I shouldn't have to live like this. I'll make a note to see the nice one, that's if he hasn't left, they seem to always leave!0 -

about pregnancy and gastric bands:If considering pregnancy, ideally you should be in optimum nutritional condition prior to conception; deflation of the band may be required prior to planned conception. Deflation should also be considered should morning sickness be present. The band may remain deflated during pregnancy and once breast feeding is completed, or if bottle feeding, the band may be gradually re-inflated to aid postpartum weight loss if needed.

Thanks Sugar, I'll deffo ask for that, I'm sure once they actually realise the extent of the mental issues I have with it, they might reconsider.
It's crazy, I preferred myself when I was classed as morbidly obese because at least what you see is what you get with that, I feel like I'm a nicely decorated present, and when you rip the paper off you are getting a big dissapointment.
When you are bigger, people see that and kinda know what to expect if you know what I mean? I was a lot happier back then, OH says I've changed, I'm always snapping, miserable and emotional. It's true. I cry at the drop of a hat. I don't even let him sleep in the same bed as me, he sleeps in Keira's bed most of the time and her in with me, making a rod for my own back with that, but couldn't bear for him to see a saggy belly fall out my jimjams when im snoozing
The crazy thing is, I know fine he wouldn't care, he's always telling me I'm beautiful and trying to make me feel better, but it doesn't matter, because I don't feel like that, I feel repulsive.
I guess all I can do is wait until I hear back from the plastic surgeon, or should I ask to get some help before that? I could use some help, even on how to cope with my self image, I feel like people point and stare at me. Im going crazy!!0 -
Ok, seems replacing the donkey that fell off and putting the music on were what she needed to settle properly in the swing... She's just dropping off nicely now
I just tried her with the dummy again just in case she fancies one now... Nope... She just held it in her mouth for a minute then pushed it out with her tongue... All the while looking slightly bemused at me...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Has Caitlin still got all her hair Krystal, or has it started falling out? I seen a baby at the surgery today and he had LOADS of hair but when his mum turned round with him, the whole back of his head was baldy, hehe.0
