*hugs* for feelie and her doctor visit and for anyone else who needs them and for constipated babies. I'm having problems in that department since the birth and lactulose is having no effect on me at all. The German pharmacist said all I'm allowed while BF is a home enema kit - I'm going to have to go much longer than a week without going before I get that out, for sure
Was up till 4 with the sick little monster, who woke again at 7 to feed and is now snuffling heartbreakingly in her crib. Papa slept through the night and awoke as I was feeding her to proclaim that he felt reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally bad. I almost took his head off. He went back to bed instead of going through with his promise to take the monster to get our family allowance sorted (if you have a baby in tow you skip the queue, and I'd have got some sleep) but seems to think that the breakfast pastry he left at my computer is going to redeem him.
I'm going to make tea, eat the pastry and think about it. Hmph.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Just read the intro, looks really interesting! will finish reading in a mooooh yes please, that would be fab
how are you feeling this morning lovely girl?
Right P&T IMO
Pros
can be used for 1 or 2 children at once
very easy to steer (front wheel can be fixed or free, not wide or long like most doubles)
bouncy suspension/ off road tyres
holds value for re-sale
suitable from birth to 4yrs
Cons
not parent facing
needs to have lots of 'bits' removed for folding
when baby is too big for lie flat part they have to sit very upright in order for toddler to be in pram too
can't use basket when toddler sat on the back (unless you want foot prints in it)
Some people say it is heavy but when I checked it was only 1kg heavier than my previous pram. I don't really notice the weight as it's so easy to push.
The worst bit of it to me is that when Chris sits on the back Ed has to be sat really upright when I feel he should still be laid flat, we have the head hugger that comes when you buy the bouncy chair converter but even with that I have to roll up a blanket and put it next to him to stop him lolling to the side. (although Ed is on the 75th for height so may not be a problem is babe is shorter)
I don't think you drive do you? do you get the bud often? I'm not sure it would be practical on a bus unless its one that you can push pram straight on (but then I think that would be a problem with any double)0 -

Hi strangers x
Hope everyone is ok, I'm ok.
Ryan is great, been sleeping through from 6/7pm to 6.45am, woo hoo! it feels really weird cos Aston didnt sleep through until he was 18 months old.
Ryan is also crawling backwards now, which is also weird cos he seems to young!
I'm ok, just plodding along really, I bought a lindam food processor from Tesco for £13 the other day so am going to make up some proper food for Ry Ry, it's been jars so far, but we eat freshly cooked every day so might aswell do something for him.
Does anyone know of any good sites to get some info on what food they can and cant have?
I cant beleive he is 5 months old already!
Aston is back at school and enjoying it, I need to have a word though cos they are giving him reading books that are too easy for him, he is uber clever at reading, I am baffled as to how he is so good!:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -

Hi everyone, just a quick hello
Elliot will be one next week! He still isn't walking yet, seems to be the last one to do it but I can't really do much about that. He's eating really well though, loves his foodHe keeps saying 'yeah' to everything, i say no and he says yeah!! lol.
Hope everyone's ok.
keely.
Hiya jake was about 13month when he started walking, so i wouldnt worry at all, ive not come accross many babies that are walking before their 1st birthday.Keely - Imogen didn't walk until 15 months and we weren't really worried. When she did she just got up and walked across the living room! She'd been walking holding hands, first 2 hands, then 1, and obviously decided just to go for it.
thats exactly how jake did it, just stood up and walked accross the room, think he only fell over in shock cos we were cheering and clapping!!(And when I didn't have a job and everyone kept saying, "Have you got a job yet?" as if I would be keeping it a secret.)
this is exactly a problem ive got at the moment! i was made redundant when i was 7month pregnant with jasmine, and at the moment its not going to be much benefit for me to get a job and every time i speak to someone "so are you working yet?", "have you got a job ect" is it really so strange to not work when you've got 2 young kids!!
anyway hope everyones ok, off to toys r us soon (thanks whoever it was that posted the link to the sale yesterday!) theres a lovely highchair on offer that i want, fingers crossed its in stock!0 -
OH and I always go to bed together, always have done, barring one or 2 occasions.
But we both like to go up about 9pm or 10pm ish lol:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0
