PS caz, you recommended I might need a Phil and Ted's buggy with 2 little ones. What is it about that one that's good? I was successful in getting a side by side one off freecycle, but it's too wide for all our doorways. Is that usual?

tss, my bfing fact was meant to be reassure people, well toddler feeders that you won't be bfing as you see the sprogling off to university! ;) I think (Krystal?) that if left to their own devices most children self-wean between 2 and 4 (which is also the same ages a parented to sleep child will learn to self settle by themselves iyswim, it all seems terribly neat *looks suspicious*)
That's correct. (I did loads of reading up about it as OH was worried about how long Alice would keep feeding if we didn't actively stop her.)

:hello: morning susan, thanks for liking my HG essay;)

I told my brother (GP) about it on the phone last night and he's asked for a copy!- he said (praise indeed) 'I might learn something' :rotfl:

anyway, I was glad to help, as like you, I love researching :) (actually-that might not be true, do you love it, or do you just feel you should do it?)

My mum said she had to have one side of the pushchair not quite fully opened in order to get it out the door. (But in those days I think there was only one choice of double pushchair.) She then used to fully open it once she got out of the front door. But my brothers were born in September - if it's warm weather I imagine it's easier to put the pushchair up outside and then put them in. Another option is to put baby in sling and toddler in single pushchair but it depends whether you like/get on with slings.

Weezl - I love my P&T (sami & September will tell you the same). You NEED one if you're having two close-ish together. It's no bigger than your average out & about type pram (3 wheeler) but both kids can sit in it. It's a little heavy with the pair of them but very agile and not too wide or long for anything.

Kiddicare still have them in the sale (the red one was the one I wanted but they only had blue or pink when I bought) and at that price it will pretty much be worth the same amount when you sell as they really hold their value. I wouldn't be without mine.

Foiled at the first attempt of putting up the Beaba thing. The tubes don't fit on each other. Like they are slightly too big? Gonna need a man to bash it I think :rotfl:

I'm just fed up of everyone asking 'is he walking yet'!! Getting really annoying now, it's like being pregnant and being asked 'have you had the baby yet/any signs of labour?' You start to not want to talk to anyone.

Thanks for the reassurance :) xx

Yes I do enjoy it. I probably spend too much time reading about things which aren't relevent though (e.g. WHO documents on breastfeeding practice and advice in the CAR) because I find them interesting.

  • I've got a bad case of anxiety today, big lump in my stomach. Going home tonight, not been for a while, so wondering if that is a reason. Need to try and get some clothes washed and dried before leaving.

Oh and put beef casserole in, glad I remembered.

    GP this afternoon, nervous.
