You've probably joined already but if not, you should join the WH Smith Privilege Club and print off a handful of their vouchers. There's usually one for £5 off when you spend £15 on kids books, plus others.

Welcome Raggydoll It won't take long at all before you feel like you've been here for years.Great group of people on the OS boards.
I must admit, I am also a cookbook addict. My favourite ones are very old ones I find in charity shops. So many of the recipes are simple, yet very tasty and wholesome.

Today has been a great day here. I got the ceiling in the lounge/kitchen painted. It really looks good and brightens up the room. And no more pink plaster spot.
DH and I have become parents again. We have the most beautiful German Pointer who has come to be our furchild. She is a rescue and absolutely lovely. Her people mum passed away recently from cancer and it wasn't possible for anyone in the family to take her. She is very clever and wow does she have a lot of energy. :rotfl:
Bree, the furbaby we already have does not care for her very much. Bree has always loved big dogs, however Buttons thinks she is a little puppy and likes to bound and jump at Bree. Bree has told her off a couple of times and Buttons seems to be getting the idea that she is not the top dog. They had a wonderful romp and run in the park together this evening so hopefully a little more time and they'll work it out. Bedtime should be interesting tonight.
Off here now to get ready for bed. Wish us luck.Take the first step.
Even if you cannot see the whole staircase,
Just take the first step.
