Morning all:j
Been very OS so far today....have washing hung out, cleaned kitchen and have a chocolate loaf cake in the oven. Have a bit of tidying to do upstairs and a HM mince and onion pie to make for tea.
I had MRI on Sat...it was very claustrophobic and a few times during the 20 mins I had to concentrate really hard on not pressing the button to get out:rolleyes:. I have an appt with the neuro cons next month but I think it is just migraine caused by hormones changing.
Thriftlady I have an addiction to cookery books too and have learned now to either get them from the library first or look at them in Waterstones before giving Amazon my money:p. I saw the other day you had Diana Henrys Roast Figs Sugar Snow book...I have her others and loved them and was really looking forward to getting that one but whilst it is a lovely book I dont think I will use it....lesson learned;). There are a few new ones coming out in the run up to xmas I have my eye on;)
Helyg How old is your DS? As you probably know my DS was diagnosed with autism a few years ago but was recently diagnosed with ADHD also. I can PM you if it helps and give you an idea of the type of criteria they look at on the Conners form for ADHD. Is he the same at home as he is at school as that is usually one of the main things they look at, they usually behave the same in both places.
Maitane Re language lessons.... The primary my son goes to run various clubs in the lunch hours including Spanish and French. It is at extra cost to parents and it is language teachers from outside the school who come in and do it so it may be worth checking with local schools? I decided to enroll DS in the Spanish one with me speaking Spanish etc and he has a memory like an elephant and did well at remembering the words...however as he has language processing difficulties it all became confusing so we decided to stop it.He still remembers words...eg last week he said "Its Jueves today isnt it mummy" (Thursday)

Morning Everyone,
Its a lovely sunny morning here. Took ds to primary school this morning and he started crying, so now I feel awful. Hung my washing out, making some curried parsnip soup I think today.
I'm off to clean the bathroomsI'm trying so hard to be thrifty, but it doesn't come naturally. You lot are an inspiration!JUST LOVES THE O/S BOARD0 -
Hi Patentgirl - a warm welcome to Oliver. Hope mother and baby are doing well. Congratulations Patentgirl on becoming a granny!
Haribo, glad you've worked out who the stalker is! Have you reported them on here (presume you can do such a thing?)?0 -

Yep. The Abuse team have been made aware:cool::D.
Have tidied out my wardrobe and have another bag for the charity shop which I'll drop off when I'm out. Realised there is not enough tuna fishcake mix for us all so am doing Delia's spiced chicken with lentils for OH and me instead.
Some b ugger has scraped my car during the night . It's the side that was repaired recently too. We live on a single track road but it's a tourist trail and there are more and more campervans coming up here. I really wish they would get out and walk instead of blocking our road and damaging cars .
