Went to see it in Las Vegas last week.Gory in places but an edge of seat thriller.
All the excitement in Vegas and we go to the flicks.
Mind you,ten minutes before that we were talking to Jerry Springer.
    Only in Vegas.

Back from seeing Mamma Mia, isn't the free goodie bag great ;)

What's with the anti-ageing cream and calcium tablets included?
  • lol my oh was like what this meaning the calcium tablets!! still got 4 of everything due to left over bags
A big thank you to all those who post on the forum and make it a worthwhile place!!!:j

  • I went along to the Polo Film Festival in Bedford last night and it was Love Actually, not Mama Mia.
The goodie bag was a bit rubbish: Berry Flavoured Snack a Jacks (tasted like cheerios!), sample of chewable calcium tablets, Nivea DNAge sample, Nivea My Silhouette sample, a Baileys truffle and what looks lip it might be lip balm.
I was surprised by how empty the showing was - about 50 people at most.

I was gutted that Top Gun didn't win but I kinda guessed that might be the case when I noted that the ratio of young men to middle aged woment in the crowd was not in my favour

I was on PoLo Festival last night, I saw Mamma Mia!. Me and my friends enjoy it the movie , also the bag of goodies. The bag was well presented and the goodies. Except the cosmetics ones whicht I will going to used, all the food I will give it to some friends kids (I have a gut disease, so I could not eat them, otherwise I am happy to eat them). Finally, was a free movie plus some freebies goodies. And do not forget, at least in my cinema (Aberdeen Cineworld) was also give it away in a raffle 3 Ipods and 2 Wii! In my opinion, was I very good night out, I apreciated it and I thanks again to all who make all this kind a freebies available and spreading.

I went to the Polo Film Festival last night and it was Sex and the City. I was disappointed as I really wanted to see Mamma Mia :(

Really enjoyed watching Mamma Mia & the goody bag was a nice added bonus. Was a bit surprised they didn't plug the VW Polo more (ie. one short ad at the start & no hard sell afterwards) but I guess that now I've entered the competition some mailshots will follow (eventually) via Postman Pat! A different way to promote a new car & many thanks to VW for a good almost free (only cost me £2 to park) night out!!

We went to the Blodon (Tyne & Wear) showing last night and it was Grease! We had a great time but I was quite surprised to see the screen was only half full. The cinema staff told us that quite a few people had decided to leave once they knew the film was Grease.
Hopefully there'll be more of these screenings in the future...

wanted to say a special big thank you to the dizzy blond for posting about the woolworth's special halloween event.

as instructed went in costume. my 8 year old nephew today. he went as dracula and i went as elvira. only one other child was in costume (he was about 4 - 5). and the screening we went to was quite full. they gave my nephew a backpack containing ALL the older boys' prizes probably worth about £50.00. what a result for a free film. my nephew is ecstatic.

did anyone else strike it lucky today?

    i love this site.
