Still haven't received my polo tickets either, although they may have arrived and been taken by the maintenance man around the flats, as a lot of my ebay post has gone missing in that way :( does anyone who has received their tickets for this know whether they turn up in an envelope showing what they are before you open it?
They turn up in a really small envelope with the VW logo and in the bottom left corner in wee writing Vo1kswagen Cinema Promotion and the return address. Mine only just arrived (on Saturday) for the Nov 3rd screening.

Anyone know what exactly will be shown on the 3rd?

Seems to be Mamma Mia in most cinemas, but mine were supposed to be for the 29th, so I assume they haven't yet been sent out / have been caught in the strikes / have not made it to my door :(

Just returned two tickets for Harry Brown tonight at Colchester Odeon
  • I received my polo timeless tickets today wouldn't worry too much if they haven't arrived yet the post is very hit and miss at the moment

I received my tickets for 29/10 on Saturday. However, I've just had an email to say not to worry if you don't get your tickets through the post, just to print off the email & bring it along as you're name is on the guest list.

    Hope that helps.

    Hi guys,

what are the chances of getting ID'd at the SeeFilmFirst screenings as I can no longer go but my sister would like to take my place.

    thanks,
    Nitsy

I went to see Harry Brown last night and was ID'd for the first time ever. The staff told me that so many people have passed on emails from SeeFilmFirst and altered the name, that often, the cinema is full and those that have genuine tickets haven't been able to get a seat so there are going to ID all freebie films in future.

But if her surname is the same as yours, that might be OK - perhaps she could say that it's a misprint?

I thought the film very good but extremely violent from the opening scenes onwards - I had to cover my eyes a few times :D. It was brutally depressing in parts but exceptionally well acted.

Yep, in follow - up, I received an email from them about that too, saying not to worry if I hadn't yet received my tickets, as the printed email would suffice. It's a free night out at least, even if I can't remember the start time :S
