I think you will be forgiven for having a glass of wine - I did last night and I have forgiven myself! We should have a Sunday confessional and cleanse ourselves of our sins!

My parents are Irish Catholics too and I think I remember the "Lent doesn't count on a Sunday" rule! Will have to ask my Mum today.
Glad the party went well and that you managed to curb your unnecessary spends beforehand. I can totally identify with that. I cringe when I think of all the money I wasted buying frippery

The party went well they ended up with an extra half an hour on the bouncy castle:T. He had loads of really lovely presents and £35 in money, and he enjoyed every bit of it!
