    I think you will be forgiven for having a glass of wine - I did last night and I have forgiven myself! We should have a Sunday confessional and cleanse ourselves of our sins!

    My parents are Irish Catholics too and I think I remember the "Lent doesn't count on a Sunday" rule! Will have to ask my Mum today.

    Glad the party went well and that you managed to curb your unnecessary spends beforehand. I can totally identify with that. I cringe when I think of all the money I wasted buying frippery :o

    Sometimes I think God must have more than a glass on a Saturday night, after listening to the likes of me pleading/begging/ranting at him all week!

    Yes, really well done on curbing the party spend.....................when I think back re how we got into this...........some of it was wonderful........some was just stupid!

    Going to use my 20p and 10p pots to do dinner money envelopes for ds for the week!:p
    The party went well they ended up with an extra half an hour on the bouncy castle:T. He had loads of really lovely presents and £35 in money, and he enjoyed every bit of it!

    LOL - just checked my balance with robbing A&L and they took like the month beginning on a Monday. Paid on Thurs, all gone by Monday.
