    Hoping to ut drastically back on wine this year to lose weight save money and be fitter!!

    Well done on avoiding the shops. Keeping in budget on food etc is my main plan this year and so need to stick to doing it online. I am quite good at staying out of the shops, unless I walk buy them and that's where the problem starts. I might have to find an alternative route to work. :rolleyes:

    I think I'll have to follow your lead and just avoid shops for a few months. Will have to go with OH to grocery shop though.

    2) £2.6K Net savings after CCs 10/10/25
    3) Mortgage neutral by 06/30 (AVC £27.9K + Lump Sums DB £4.6K + (25% of SIPP 1.25K) = 34/£127.5K target 26.6% 10/10/25
    (If took bigger lump sum = 60.35K or 47.6%)
    4) FI Age 60 income target £17.1/30K 57% (if mortgage and debts repaid - need more otherwise) (If bigger lump sum £15.8/30K 52.67%)
    5) SIPP £5K updated 10/10/25

    Hi all! I have just checked bank and i have £40 left of od limit until fri!
    OH got paid three weeks ago i know its tha same money but it does not seem to last the same if you know what i mean! Any how all bills paid so should not need anything!:rolleyes:
    Hate being so close to limit! Never mind still motivated for mse:money:.

    I know exactly what you mean! I have about the same amount to last me until the 21st and all my bills are paid so all I need it for is pocket money, but it still makes me wince!

    I always find it a struggle in Jan. I think it's partly because I'm paid early in December and it seem an age until the Jan pay day!
