Well done you.
Me, I've not bought a single present!! Bet that brings you out in hives, doesn't it?! I like to live on the edge though....and it always works out...and I have a small family. Have decided to make MIL and SIL Xmas puds - did cakes last year in my first flush of MSE, so need to up the ante this year. Aiming to do that this weekend, as feel sure it's "stir up sunday" traditionally, so got to source some cheap plastic basins....
Anway, well done and enjoy Halloween - don't eat too many skulls....

hi BTD I like to sort xmas in advance too! I am nearly sorted except:
my mum and dad but I've seen some earrings for my mum just need to buy them - dad is always a problem!
my DS - need to buy him day bed, mattress etc from ikea and some cushions - serious money but xmas and birthday present (and he needs it bless)! Waiting until I get first pay packet end Nov/early Dec
OH motorbike boots - approx £120-130 - but he needs them anyway. Parents are buying some of the other items I have bought for him with my bp amazon vouchers - so I am putting that towards the cost!
MIL - I need to get some photos printed and then MIL's hampers will be pretty much complete!
Mostly - I need money to complete my shopping - so waiting for pay day end of Nov!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks guys! :beer:If i makes you feel better i am rubbish at getting christmas cards sorted! I usually still have them in my handbag in January:rolleyes:. But i have a plan! i am going to write on each lunchtime on my lunch break and leave them in work to post in Dec!:j!
I have bought little J simpson cards for school and he is crying as he wants to keep them so we have to write him one!!:rotfl:
I feel more relived at the fact i can stop spending money and go back to frugal ways than i am at finishing christmas shopping it felt uncomfortable spending after so long!!
Bye for now

:wave:Hi all, not done much today. Went to asda to get one more present (i know i know) it was gator golf for LJ for christmas, but in my defence one of his other presents (dont know which one yet) will be put aside for his b day! (MARCH). I did check prices and asda was cheapest. Him and big J are always playing crazy golf on hols and trips.
I bought a sausage bap £1 i did stop and work this out and it was cheaper to buy one than to buY a sausage and a roll and make onE, and i was so full it was breakast and lunch!
Apart from that no spends:j.
Feel like its been a good long week off usually it flie by but is hasnt it has been lovely!:D.
Hope your all ok
