Hi BTD - it is impossible to be good all the time - so praise yourself for when you do manage it and dust yourself off and get back up again when it all goes wrong. Try and put in place strategies to minimise temptation like pre-preparing food, using a range of simple, quick to cook meals. Today we had sweet chilli chicken and pasta using a 59p dipping sauce as a base for the stir fry (home and bargain special) - everyone loved it and it was ready in 15-20 mins.

I'm buying for xmas too at the mo - and am nearly sorted!

Hi Beat the Debt, just read your diary and love how positive and focussed you are. Our starting debt figure was pretty much the same as yours.
