    Anyhow this is a debt free diary so, i bought three baskets from morrisons today £1.99 for hampers for christmas! And they have (in morrisons) robinsons squash 50p!!:D.
    Bought sdvent calenders also done now dont have the dec 1st manic panic that they are sold out!:eek:

    Hi beat the debt - I enjoyed making hampers last year for xmas - I've been gathering stuff together for a while....
    Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
    1) MFW Nov 21 £202K now £171.8K Equity 36.37%
    2) £2.6K Net savings after CCs 10/10/25
    3) Mortgage neutral by 06/30 (AVC £27.9K + Lump Sums DB £4.6K + (25% of SIPP 1.25K) = 34/£127.5K target 26.6% 10/10/25
    (If took bigger lump sum = 60.35K or 47.6%)
    4) FI Age 60 income target £17.1/30K 57% (if mortgage and debts repaid - need more otherwise) (If bigger lump sum £15.8/30K 52.67%)
    5) SIPP £5K updated 10/10/25

    I have bought some lovely christmas cellophane with holly print in gold on it from ebay! Am doing beauty hampers x 3 1for mum and 2 mil's.:rolleyes:
    I have some lovely Kylie showtime perfumes only £11.49 from studio for 50ml!:D Pink glass nail files and pedicure foot brush things! I may vary them for whichever recipient.;).
    Was thinking of putting liquer and chocs in also? All ideas very very welcome come on share!:rotfl:

    hi BTD - it is worth searching the freebies board- I got some Avon and some Dove which will go in my hampers this year. I also look for bargains at places like B&M Bargains, Home and Bargains and Savers - got max factor lip gloss for £1.29 for example. If you look at the boots grabit threads on shop but don't drop you can often get bargains there too.

    Use the Make £10 a day challenge to create extra money to pay off debt / fund xmas

    ooh well done on your hamper making, I have got all the stuff to make my stepmum one for her birthday. They're a great idea.

    oooh there must have been something in the air the other day, as I also caved into fish and chips!!!! There's only so long you can resist!!!

    Bless little J going through his joggers, my nephew is the same age, and his clothes only seem to last him five minutes, my sister gets very frustrated.

    I have been to a friends "nearly new and new" sale radley bags shoes clothes etc and didint but a thing! Just went to support her!:D Before i would have bought something to be polite!:rolleyes:
    Having a takeaway tonight and not feeling bad about it as the last one was August and it used to be a weekly thing so i will enjoy!:T
    Little J and big J making biscuits cost the earth to make but they are having fun and its good to get little J cooking,:rolleyes:.
    Doing well with the christmas shopping Amazon have been so cheap cheapper than tesco or asda and with free delivery!:T
    Nearly blanky and x factor time!:T
