Afternoon everyone
Managed to sleep in until 8.30am this morning so didn't make it earlier.
:bdaycake: Moiliere & Valkscot's DS :bdaycake:
Popped over to Sheffield to sort number plate out for car, and to see DCousin (83) and her daughter popped and one of her kids popped over too to see us which was nice. She is the eldest daughter of one of 9, and my Mum was the youngest, and I am the youngest too, hence she is nearer my Mum's age and her daughters nearer mine. IYKWIM.
Not much OS, DC made us a sandwich for lunch, and I called at Netto who have a 18th birthday price crash on with some good bargains. i.e. Maxwell House Rich Roast (100% free) 200g £1.99, Bold wash powder £3.99, and 250g Butter (for baking) 79p Wholetail Scampi £1.99 for 340g, but only got charged £3.60 for 2:T. Also find their F&V lasts longer than Mr T's.
Frozen chips, Scampi and Frozen Peas for tea:o.
Glad Thunder turned up safe and well M-M. P-P Glad to hear that DH's foot was not broken.
Take care - DG

Evening all

Stefejb - you have a much more interesting job than me!
Tru - well done Penny!!
Well today was a very long day at Court. It was 2.55 before we were called as Jurors. I understand why but boy does it drag! I am shattered through sitting and doing nothing! Was interesting once we were picked and the case will go on for a couple of days so should be more interesting tomorrow!
Wish I had put my washing out this morning before I went though as it has been a glorious day - it is on the line now though so will have a few hours before it gets dark.
I know that we are forecast good weather for the next few days but I am putting my slow cooker on in the morning with a chicken casserole so that it will all be ready when we get in as it was all a bit of a mad panic throwing tea together tonight.
Anyway have a good evening all

Just popped back on to let you know that the monster 4 year old from the planet Zorg loved school. He only gave me a goodbye hug because his teacher reminded him, then he hung his coat up and raced off to sit next to his best friend. He didn't spare another glance for me. He was quite happy but hungry when I picked him up. I did not cry, I was actually laughing because it was as if he'd been going there for ever.
Tomorrow I'm having his best friend's little brother for the day so his mum can have a few hours break - she was good enough to have the boy for a few hours the afternoon that he woke at 4:30 in the morning, so I owe her big style. To be fair, Little Brother is nothing like monster boy. He is a total doddle to look after, loves going out in his pram and eats anything that I hand him. I may take him to Liverpool on the train for a while.
It's Little Brother's 1st birthday on Wednesday, awwww, so I won't post on here tomorrow, I'll be concentrating on keeping him busy while his mum gets some rest and sorts the house out.
(((Hugs))) to Pippa and the rest of you take care until I'm back.0 -
Hello all. It's been a while since I posted on these threads, but need to get back into it! It's taken me 2 days to read yesterday's & today's OS threads, though!
