Well ive been with three for over four years and have had very few problems, it was a bit hit and miss in the early days but its come on leaps and bounds since. They are the market leader in my opinion and have been inovative with both there product and services they provide. As for the customer services i agree it can be a little frustrating at times however they are well mannered and helpful.

I dont work for three but i appreciate the good service and value for money they provide and will not be leaving any time soon. Three like marmite, you either love'm or hate'm and of course that can be said of any network. I sometimes think people have a pre concieved perception of three due to the early days when things were just starting and it was a bit of a nightmare. However they brought a fresh approach to mobile contracts and forced the other networks to start providing better value for money.

If i was to be critical of them it would be down to there choice of handsets, especially for a data driven network to only provide the qtek 9000 pda type phone was short sighted. There were of course the old motorola ones which are not worth a mention but now you can the htc tytn ii and the three network is an ideal combination and hope to see more pda phones released.

Anyway thats my two penneth worth and after a recent retention deal i have 500 mins 100 text x series gold and got an lg viewty for £20 pm. I use a htc p3600 pda on the network and it works very well. Also got the slingbox thrown in so v happy.

arthur: i dont think they will call me. havent since and yes it was an agent although he said he worked for 3 based in scotland and one of the many indian advisors did find his name, sent him an email but to no avail.

plob: they are well mannered but that still dont change the fact they dont understand what you tell some of them half the time. but there tarifs were great. but not anymore

I have never had a problem with 3 and i have been with them for 3 years now with a view to take out another contract next month. They have always been helpful although sometimes its hard to explain your problem. Coverage has also become alot better over the years!

  • ..there is starting this month new tariffs from T-Mobile -combi tariffs , but consider the lightly different price for out-of-inclusive minute cost compared to the flext tariffs --i think it is competing with 3 a bit more...

I just took a 6 month contract for £15 a month and got a free phone (Nokia 6288), so if everything goes well I think I will be very happy with this deal. Let's hope I won't have any problems with them. (OH has a contract with them and everything went well except that they forgot to give him the £30 credit from a friend recommended and had to call them loads of time)

Damn their wretched Indian call centre! That's the main reason I'm leaving. I mean, just listen to this - hopeless!

ha ha i just had a listen to that..talk about going round in circles and getting nowhere ;).. even though it was amusing, i found myself getting wound up thinking about all the very similar calls that i have had with them...even tho it was not my phonecall i listened to there, i was getting frustrated at the very slow way that they try to help... ok, she did try, but she was totally missing the point of complaint....time for a relaxing cuppa now, to unwind again before work......cheers..;)

I've been quite happy with Three. I don't think they are any worse than any of the others - the service has been fine and they are cheaper than the others so I would happily recommend them to others.
