Erm no. You will only be able to claim the value of a few sheets of paper. You need to take out the consequential insurance as well.
You see, I had read SO many articles that said that Special delivery provides insurance:
http://www.orangemobileshop.co.uk/cashback.aspAll the cash back claims must reach us within 15 days from the bill date mentioned on the relevant bill for the relevant cash back claim (refer to the tables below) through special delivery.5. Use Special Delivery to send all cashback claims. This offers proof of receipt and insurance.
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=8654229After a very stern conversation with Royal Mail, it transpires that if one needs EXTRA compensation cover for a document which, in the event of late arrival or loss, would result in finacial loss. Incredibly angry though I am, I have no recourse to compensation unless I had paid an extra fee and chose 'Consequential Loss' cover. I feel compelled to warn that even if you are super vigilant like me and get your claims in on time and by a recorded form of delivery, even paying extra for delivery, you may not be covered.
Please, please, please be careful with cashback as even if the company you have found is reliable, our postal service is not!!!
In fact, I once mentioned to the post office lady that this was special because of the cashback claim, and she said a lot of people do it - but didn't explain extra insurance! Fortunately, I was OK. I'd have been steaming mad if the cashback had failed! Well, I suppose it's a thumbs-up for Phones4U then!0 -
In response to lawlorlane's question. (Sorry only just seen your post) A 3 USB dongle could be the answer to your Broadband problem. If you can obtain a reasonable signal at your home then you should get reasonable download speeds.
I took the plunge and signed up to 3 last week. So far excellent covereage and download speeds. I have taken out their 300 mix and match (£15 /month) with X Series Silver add-on (£5 / monoth) I use the phone as a USB modem for the odd sneaky peek at the web (Sending this message via it now). This is against their T&Cs so if you wanted to regularly use the phone as a modem you would need one of their Broadband add-ons (£10 / month broadband lite) or the dongle thingy (£20 / month I think) The disadvantage of the dongle is that you pay £20 an month and don't get any phone call time.
Lol- have only just seen your reply..... Thanks!
It takes so long to get pages up i dont come on very often. Thanks for the help, after deciding to go with 3 dongle broadband i get a letter from BT saying they have now got a date for instalation of the new wiring....... oct 08  Dont know whether to laugh or cry. So now im wondering if my best option is to wait or not? Afteeing let down before dont know if i want to wait and be let down again or do i want to sign a 2 year contract with 3 when i could be getting home broadband in october
I totally blame BT for my lack of cyberlife.
Any ideas what you would do -being a libran i need someone to make my decisions for me!!! Thanks again:o0 -
Lawlor Three are now doing a PAYG mobile broadband package for £10 a month but you have to buy a modem from them, not sure how much it would be but i reckon you would get most of your money back if you sold it on when BT get their act together.WHOOOOSHHHHHHHHH……..

Has anyone changed their number with 3? My husbands is up next month but he wants to change his number. He was just going to write and cancel and get a new phone online (&quidco) but reading this that might not be as easy as we think!

I am not sure if they would if you asked for a new number from them but if they did try to charge you could pick up a free sim card from someone else then apply to port it to Three .WHOOOOSHHHHHHHHH……..

When my contract was up for renewal in January i tried to get the £5 a month for life deal on the mix and match 300 deal. But the best offer they would give me was £10 a month with an added 200 texts which i did not particularly want. I finally gave in and accepted.
When i received a confirmation of the deal the letter said they had in fact offered me the £5 a month for life deal.
They have now said this was an error and that i would still have to pay the £10 a month.
Have i any legal right as i have the document they sent me. This must also prove they are still offering the deal although they denied this when i was trying to get it.
Can anybody give me any advice.0 -
3 are the worst network in history - i've sued them for problems i've had with them0

Went to carphone warehouse on Tuesday to get a good contract- 3- 900 units for £24. Took a long time to sort contract out as they do in there- At the end I was late to get back to work and signed contract Phone has no coverage where I live. went to return the phone as suggested by `nice and sweet` saleswoman and found out that there was NO 14 day get out clause and neither phones4U or 3 would take responsibilty- I am stuck with 2X18/12 contracts at £24/month each. HELP!!!!!!!!!0
