They don't have a MMS tariff on their website so I did an instant chat with India to ask what does an MMS cost and the bloke replied "we don't have MMS tariff" and cut the call....can you send MMS's on 3?! Is it true that when roaming you have to keep switching local networks to find one that 3's done a deal with or your text/MMS/call won't go through?
IS the biggest prob with 3 their patchy network coverage then? We could save a lot of £s if OH and I were both on 3 but there's no point if you can't get through. We already find T Mobile calls drop around here on a regular basis (London! too many people using the network acc to them).0 -
views please on whether (or not) this is the worst UK mobile network?0

o2 and T-mobile were worst and i was them for years, Vodafone breached my contract and its with Otelo now
3 are mediocre at best but did a good retention deal - its the scripts 3 give 3India and you trying to explain it dont matter what thier 3 script says that under UK law the law is on your side, ie faulty handsets & overcharging
Orange have been excellent with me with service 7/10 being good/great, cancellation because of change T&C and instead of leaving they gave me a tariff I couldnt refuse Dolphin 35 with 2000 extra mins for 18 months no handset 20 quid discount per month & keep my 5pound B/B
Orange have some great deals on at the mo if you dont need internet access - if you do the its 3 all the waySO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0 -
anyone had any good retention offers from 3 recently?
best they could do me was £15 for 250 mins and 50 texts and a new nokia phone (i think the 6210) for a new 18 month contract.
seems its better for me to cancel existing contract and sign up to a new one with the quidco and phonestophoneshop instant cashback offers."An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind" - Mahatma Gandhi0 -

No - the best they could offer me was "approx" £19 a month on 300 mins and 150 txts (same pics 25, and downloads £5). New phone. I'm not fussed about the new phone although my current one does have a fault. This is a 12month contract by the way. I was dissapointed with this offer having seen other customers get £5 a month, not long ago at all either. I've requested my PAC code (which reminds me it hasn't arrived yet) and will be looking for a new provider. Shame really as I liked 3.seems its better for me to cancel existing contract and sign up to a new one with the quidco and phonestophoneshop instant cashback offers.
Instant cashback you say? Maybe I will go for that. Will have to look into it further! If you see anything really good keep me posted and vice versa.

Same for me, rubbish retention offer from Three so I cancelled.
To be honest though, its normally always better to cancel and get a new contract.. because you get cashback etc, but Three might as well offer the better deal anyway, because now there is a risk that another network will offer a better deal and i'll leave three.

Wanting to unlock my 3 phone - is this instant like getting PAC code or do I have to give notice like cancelling my contract?
Many thanks0 -

basically for certain reasons i've got to stay with three.
onestopphoneshop are doing the best offer i could find (using quidco).
its mix and match 300 with the skype phone for 18 months. with the various cashbacks it works out at around £11. Its an instant cashback with onestopphoneshop after 2 months and then another cashback with Quidco."An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind" - Mahatma Gandhi0 -
had a lot of trouble ending my contract. a solicitor's letter did the trick. biggest trouble is you get to speak to overseas call centers and they are brain washed.:beer:0
