Handset: iphone 4 16GB black
Most commonly used location: home
Ease and reliability and connection: I live in Wye in Kent, a small village near Ashford and the reception is dire, completely hit and miss, but then again the mrs has even worse reception issues with Vodafone, so i wouldnt recommend either in my area.
Any other problems: I have complianed on numerous occasions about 3, but have had no outcome that i am happty with, they tend to just let it go on and on and not act on it until i cant still be bothered to continue chasing them....CUSTOMER SERVICE is TERRIBLE. They mis sold me a contract at 45 squid /month, which is a hefty chunk but i always end up goping over it, so when my contract was up for renewal i specifically said i wanted a price plan that suited my usage. cleverly on their part i ended up taking the same/similar contract out with them. i have since complained regularly that the contract does not suit me and have got absolutely no where. my contract was up recently and i waited until i had a week left and i was made an offer of a brand new samsung galaxy S3, all the minutes, texts, roaming, international calls and a few other bits for £25/month inc tax. Which is far better than anything else out there, so i swallowed hard and accepted the contract. Because although im stuck with a nasty and difficult company, ive got a seriously good deal!

Handsets: Blackberry 9220 (x2)
Location: Midlands
Never had a problem whenever i called customer services, yes they were based in india, but they understood whatever i said and made the approriate changes that i had requested.
Never had a signal issue, but never used video calling as its not part of the package deal.
Internet not the best or fastest, but keeps the teens happy.
Overall, i'd give them 9/10Mortgage deposit fund: £4000

Handset: Iphone 3G
Most commonly used location: Liverpool, Bootle
Ease and reliability and connection: Terrible, since I joined 3 October 2011 I haven't had full signal once. I generally have no signal. Perhaps 1 day out of 7 I will get one bar for like 1 min but then back to searching for a signal. Have to go out of the street (not the house the STREET) to text or ring someone. Causing all kinds of issue because my mum tries to get in contact with me and doesn't believe me that I can't get signal. Even in the City Centre of Liverpool I only get 2/3 bars. I pay £23 a month for unlimited internet and texts and 100 mins calls. Bit pricey nowadays for the Iphone 3G. Fuming because I am stuck in a 24 month contract with this rubbish and paying for something am not receiving. Its not the house either as my partner and his partners on o2 and its full bars all the time. His sister and boyfriend on Three as well and also have no signal. Can't even say where I live is like middle of no-where there is tons of houses and shops, not rural at all.
Any other problems: Have just sent email to Three, really threatening them with Watchdog and so on haha. Let's see what they say.
Overall service and rating (out of 10):0/10 for me. Can't even say the deal am getting is good anymore. Tmobile and so on offer ever same deal for a few quid more but you get the Iphone4 and also full signal.
Anyone know how to get out of contract with these gits, without having to pay tons of money to them.0 -

This thread is in regard to Three UK only.
I am fumming with three.
I have been on the phone for over 3 hours today trying to sort a problem out.
I was promised a deal and then got a call back to say they have made a mistake and I can have a better deal for £1 a month more. I said no I will stick to deal you said I could have.
Then they call me back again to say they have made a mistake and I cant have the deal I was prommised. So I ask to speak to a manager, and was on hold for ages. I was passed from one person to another repeating my self over and over again.
So when i got to speak with the manger he said I was never promised the deal I said I was. Anyway this went on for a good hour. They are phoning me Monday after they have listened to all the calls ( I dout very much they will). I was told the person who promised me the deal was new. Thats no excuse. Then I was told three never go back on there word!!!!.
Well three if all calls are recorded you will find that in fact you do go back on your word!!!.
I have wrote a complaint letter and this will be posted recorded delivery on Monday if this doesnt get sorted out.!!
I WOULD BE INTRESETED TO HEAR FROM ANY ONE WHO WORKS IN THREE IN GLASGOW ( I think its there )
I AM SO MADDDDDDDDDD.0 -
I had all sorts of problems with 3. Firstly when my contract expired they renewed it anyway (I wrote to them and called to cancel my contract when it ran out but they had 'no record'), then they made me by myself out of a contract I didn't want in the first place just to get rid of them. Wouldn't touch them with a barge pole to be honest0

Three is not cheapest or nor their customer service is very good specially when renewing the contracts. They will keep on offering same deal as new customers saying that that's a loyalty offer.... HELLO?.. How is it a loyalty offer when you can get same deal on their website as a new customer.
Their deals are expensive unless you are going for "the one plan" for any handset. But then again you can get very similar deal from an independent supplier for cheaper then three has to offer.
In my experience three is not cheaper nor it is best.
I payed about £27 every month for 500mins and texts and 250mb Internet for two years and I have been with them in total of 6 years. I was hoping they will offer me something good this time.
The best they could do is Samsung galaxy S3 on the one plan for £33/month 24months.
I asked for PAC code and will be goin on virgin taking their VM 12 plan which offers 1200 mins, unlimited texts and 1 GB Internet all for £12/month 30 days rolling contract.
Hope this helps.0 -

That is certainly not good value. I pay £15 for 900mins/Texts and 1Gb Data and have done since taking out the contract 2 years ago (which included a Free HTC Desire at the time)...0 -

Not sure how you can say they missold you a contract when you then agreed to take on the same (or similar) contract for a further period. Sounds like you didn't understand what you were being offered TBH. If you are in any doubt, you should ask for the details in writing or visit a shop..0 -
Does anyone know anything about this site as the deals look "too good to be true" I need a new contract and was going to use these guys.
They ask for a card number as well as sort code and account details... Is that normal?
