  • Hi Guys

About to get a PAYG phone on Three but concerned about general network coverage, was hoping customers on Three could give some feedback, a friend of mine says he hardly gets any signal indoors and has to go near the window which is a bit worrying...

Was hoping its not actually that bad!

    Thanks

That a bit like asking how long a piece of string is.

But Three does have the largest 3g coverage in the uk, backed up with 2g coverage provided by orange.
Youve got a better chance of getting coverage with 3 than with any other network.

Ive been with 3 for a couple of years with a mobile contract and with mobile broadband, used them all over the uk and havent had any signal problems

Basically "3"s signal strength is best in the Central belt of Scotland and getting weaker as you head towards Land's end..

Where in the UK are you? that might get you a better response.

    Okay...WOW....

Anyhoo, My whole family has been on Three, never had any problems with signal or coverage whatsoever, data is really fast (I live in London, City)
  • On the west coast of Wales, the signal is fine - my husband has a phone with 3 and I've not heard him complaining! (about the phone anyway).
  • I use 3, have done since 2003. I find the only place I can't get any signal whatsoever (3G) is in the 3rd level basement at work! Everywhere else is fine. If I switch to 2G, it even works in the basement...

really? I live a few miles from Lands End and my dongle speeds are 2+mbs all day everyday, and never had a signal problem :p
  • Best 3g coverage in the uk and they cover most of Northern Ireland which is a plus if you live there.
  • Ah thanks, we are in Luton / Beds area so would need to cover herts, london etc, sounds like it should be ok from the responses so far!
