just about to buy myself out of my 3 contract because i am sick of frustrating phone calls that terminate at important times. a phone conversation is normally held over 20 installments, with me making constant apologies for loss of connection. when i do get a signal, i am afraid to move me or the phone in case the signal disapears. dont know what happened, a year ago i had no problem with 3. i feel so strongly about this that i am prepared to pay off my contract, 10 months at £25 minus 10%(ofcom legislation). phone on ebay will wipeout most of this. goodbye 3 you bunch of clowns0

I have just gone to Vodafone after 4 years with three because three would not offer me a good enough deal to retain me. For £20 a month calling their sales line 08080 408 408 I got a SE C905 Cybershot with 900 anytime anynetwork minutes, Unlimited Texts, 500mb internet and email and unlimimited vf to vf calls, best three were prepared to do on a phone with wi fi and 8mp camera was £25.72, Bye Bye Thrre and hello Vodafone0

Handset: Nokia 6630 and USB modem
Most commonly used location: Northolt
Ease and reliability and connection: Usually easy to connect to 3G and HSDPA with a stable connection.
Any other problems: Calls are dropped occasionally. Internet connection can fail sometimes but no more than the other networks. Images aren't compressed like on o2 and T-mobile.
Overall service and rating (out of 10): 8.5
Other comments: Customer services are free to call. Content lock has now been removed it seems.

Have just negotiated 4th contract with 3 so have to say very satisfied. it does take patience and some time to deal with customer services but for all that persistence and pleasantness defo pays off. Often think that i would never do as well if i were the customer service rep in the uk for India.! Having said that overall veryhappy as phone and dongle user. It is necessary to be determined abut what you want in dealing with them but dont forget the different cultural attitudes that pervail, respect for people always pays off and leaves less of a battle field behind. Good luck to them i say, and that after dealing with t mobile and orange as service providers.;);)0

im also very happy with three. got a mobile and dongle with them and get a constant HSPDA signal on both and i live in the deepest darkest corner of cornwall where every other network fears to tread0

Handset: Nokia N95
Most commonly used location: Ayr, Kilmarnock & Glasgow, Scotland
Ease and reliability and connection: Easy to use. 2G signal generally good...only dropped voice calls twice over the 14-15 months I've been with the 3 Network. 3G signal for MSN has dropped whilst travelling fairly often...but it's generally ok for the price I pay.
Any other problems: MSN on the Nokia N95 eats the batteries...I read that the N95 doesn't have great battery life...but when you switch off the bluetooth, MSN and whatever...it can last for 3 days before needing to recharge.
Overall service and rating (out of 10): 70 -
Handset: Nokia E71 - Fantastic phone!!!
Most commonly used location: Derby
Ease and reliability and connection: Had no issues until the past week. Having major problems connecting around the Pride Park area. 50% of time calls go straight to voicemail & outoging calls cannot be made. All other times & locations are fine.
Any other problems: Trying to resolve this from the brain-dead simpletons at the three shop was an eye-opener. I have NEVER met staff who could not give a F--- about assisting customers. An unbelievable experience
Overall service and rating (out of 10): 0 - counting down the months until I can leave this contract & will spend all my time advising everyone I know NOT to use this company
