I agree with the comments about waiting till you've got the money back in your account before naming and shaming and also about writing your review to post once the money's safely deposited! Absolutely fantastic news!!

i keep seeing this pop up in my subscribed threads and checking and being disappointed... and now it's finally happened and you have your money back! what an ordeal - you must be so happy. i'm so relieved/pleased for you! congrats - now you can put all your focus on DD where it belongs. hope this guy goes out of business soon.

beks, i am so pleased for you that this story ends with a happy note. I can't even remember if i have posted earlier in the thread but i have been following it soon after it started and feel an unmeasurable amountof relief for you. Congrats Beks..I agree with the others wait until that cash hits your bank account and let rip...deffo contact the superintendent registrar of your local council and see if the wedding licence can be revoked. When you have the cash in the bank, I will spread the word amongst my fellow wedding planners that this venue is a place to be avoided.

Glad to hear that DD is on the mend although discharging at 10pm seems a little bizarre but that's the NHS I guess.

SO pleased you guys are on the verge of getting your money back...I think you have every right to name and shame them once your position is secure.

Also...I hope you will be writing your own truthful review on Tripadvisor....it's only right that people are warned of the potential pitfalls of this venue.

Congrats to you both, hope your next venue is a million times better. Mind you, it wouldn't take much to beat this one!!:eek:

What do people think about publishing the name of the venue now?? Do you think it is safe as even though we dont have our money, it is now with the courts. Desparate to get going on my new campaign. :D:D:D:D

And the other great news is that little dd is home and doing well. Still in a lot of pain but that should improve over the next few days.
