I competely understand that you would not want this man to retain a penny of the hard won money awarded to your OH, even though he is obviously well adjusted and sees it as "just money" which indeed it is, but it is your money, and money for your future, not to line the pockets of some unscrupulous individual who cares for money more than honesty or service.

When the money is back in your hands go after the silly !!! and make him pay and make others aware of his actions and shortcomings and save others from having to endure your experience.

I am glad your DD is on the road to recovery, hopefully you can now move forward on all fronts.

We will not be making the same mistake twice!!!! I have learned a lot of lessons from this and our new venue will have a lot to live up to lol!!!

£2500 - seems to be the standard deposit. Can't believe we were stupid enough to get talked into signing up on the day. This could be a very expensive way to learn never to be pressured into a sale! What happens to these threads when they reach the end of a story, do they disappear?How do you stay in contact?
