Ha ha!! I think over the years OH has done the press thing and likes to keep ot fairly quiet. When he sailed across the atlantic last year, there was loads of press stuff and they captured some horrendous photos which his mates took the pee out of (in one inparticular, he was standing in our back garden - we were in Somerset - and he had to strike a pose - they got him to stand like captain birds eye and it was splashed across the internet!!). Searching his name on google brings up loads of photos and he doesnt always like that.

On another note, I think I am following in Shells footsteps and had a really weird but vivid wedding dream last night!! We were getting married on a boat (I was wearing a horrendous leapard print thong bikini which looked awful). It was raining and my makeup was smeared all over my face but it all seemed to be going well (??????!!!) but when asked if anyone had any objections, guess who popped up from under the sea - Mr 'I want to wring your neck and slap your face'. But, he was some sort of fish/mermaid!! He climbed onboard and pushed OH overboard and then there was a big fight with legs getting thrown about everywhere!!! ..... I woke up at this stage, in a hot sweat!!

I think Shells dream must have got to me lol or it was the glass of wine ;)!!!

Anyway, back to reality (thank goodness), I now have all the contact details of Mr C but will wait until OH returns and speak to him first. On speaking to the gentleman who sued the owner, he wants him to get his come-uppance (?sp) almost as much as I do, which is why he is keen to get us help to sort this out once and for all. I dont think OH would be pushed into a wedding we didnt want, he is very outspoken and can say no a lot more easily than me (who likes to keep the peace). I think that is why we get on so well and I really dont think the media would take over that much (its not like we are Katy Price and whats-his-face - again, thank goodness!!!). Getting the story into the papers might still be quite a task! :)

But at last your dream has meaning!! :D

Your OH away at sea = the boat and rain, ie water.

Does anyone object. = one of the worst things that could happen and one of the worst things to happen so far (meaning that bloody cheeky git!)!

Although I'm not sure about the leopard print bikini? :rotfl::rotfl:

Well, what we hoped wouldnt happen, has happened!!!!! Courgette (I think it was you), unfortunately you were right.

He has made an application to set aside judegement - he reckons that it was sent to the wrong address and arrived after the reply date. He reckons that he emailed and wrote to the court to explain this but had no response. Does that explain why it has taken a further 8 weeks to contact the court? .... I think not.

What a load of bull! Not impressed at all, so so angry. There is now a hearing of his application mid way through March. No idea if we can go to this but if we do, I would like to see evidence of his emails and the date stamped on the envelope. It is funny how he has only replied once he got the bailiffs letters.

So, so angry ...... I don't know what to do with myself. Sorry to rant but can't speak to OH right now .......

with his attitude and all the evidence of letters (presumably with the right postcode anyway!), he'll just annoy any judge/magistrate!! really hope this is sorted out soon for you!

  • What a loser! As the above person has said surely it will make him look more of an idiot in court, especially if you are able to point out his website and also if you have a brochure with his details on?

He hasn't suprised me one bit, but he's an idiot as he's never going to win this!

    LOSER

Thanks littlemadam and melancholly!! I hope you are both right. I have printed off his contacts page which goes against his whole argument that we gave the wrong address. It is identical to the address on his website.
The funny thing is, he has replied to court 4 days after receiving the letter from the bailiffs (to the same address I might add). He doesnt seem to mention receiving any other letters from court.

He is such a liar and it is our word against his .... I really hope we can request to be present during our hearing or submit evidence which is contrary to his court statement. In fact, in his statement he has actually lied about what his address is so I am wondering if we could use this??!!! I have no idea though, it may just be him who is able to attend. Infact, he requested a judgement without a hearing but court has given a hearing anyway and we have the time and date so may go along regardless.

I just hate the fact he can say what he likes and get away with it. I can't help it but I am so angry.:mad::mad::mad: :o
