I was trying on wedding dresses at the weekend, and got chatting to the assistant. It turns out she is getting married too...at the same place. I didn't know where to look. I didn't say anything though. Poor girl.I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off

Oh my goodness, just think i've seen the reviews. Shocking and disgusting, this man deserves to be made bankrupt and never make another penny again.
Beks am so glad you have gone down the right route and you are so nearly there!! Is so good to see justice being served.

Thanks all!
Franny - I hope you are right.
Taadaa - Oh no!!! Gawd! That is the trouble when we do go public - people who have already booked there will be so worried. I just hope that it makes the venue buck their ideas up but TBH, I think that unless the owner has a complete personality transplant, this is never going to happen. I can't see a awy of helping those who have already booked there.
With regards to future weddings, h2b has now gone off the idea of a 'big' wedding. I agree (to an extent) and want a real MSE wedding now (been too addicted to this site - one day is not worth being in debt for) - however, I still want it to involve all my friends and family. The trouble is, OH wants to run away and get married abroad without the big dress and formal stuff (he doesnt know I have had my £60 dress hidden under a mates bed for months!!!) This has really knocked our confidence and the stress of it has taken the excitement away.
Fingers crossed that WHEN we get our money back, we can take a proper look at what we are going to do.0 -

a wedding abroad after all this stress would be fantastic and then you could have a big celebration party when you get home. if you go somewhere cold you could still wear a big fancy dress as you would need to keep warm!0
