I can't believe this guy. I hope your Court ruling goes better than ours.

Just something else to let you be aware of. If he loses, He's gets a CCJ against the business/his name.
WHAT EFFECT WILL A CCJ HAVE?
Since the register is open to the public, anyone can see that your company has a CCJ. Having a CCJ registered against your company’s name will prevent or restrict your ability to obtain credit and affect your credit agency rating. It can also be damaging to your reputation in the marketplace.

Also what's the name of the venue....I want to be nosey on trip advisor....:D

neneromanova, I think Beks said he's lost at court before, a few times!

But he still persists with this sh!tty shoddy treatment to his paying customers!!

I hope that bride and groom take him for every penny they can!!

bigmomma, I won't say here ~ someone only needs to Google it and they will find the place.

    Fair point
Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?

I'm so sorry for being so nosey but I've been following this thread and have spent ages trying to work out what the venue can be. (I'm up North, so your part of the world is a bit alien to me :-))

I quite understand if you don't wish to say - I just thought I'd let you know that I am intrigued by the clues but am totally stumped! LOL

Best of luck with your case anyway, hun - I look forward to the 'big reveal'.

Beks - I was reading this thread way before Xmas and hope it all comes to a conclusion soon. Namely you get your money back and are able to name and shame!

If you haven't signed anything yet, be careful not to do it now as that might make your life harder getting the money back. As things stand, if you had to go to court to get the money back, you can prove you paid it and they have no proof of what the service they were supposed to provide was, wheras if you sign a contract and there are any clauses about forefeitting deposits in (and I'm not sure what the legal position is on that even if it doesn't have anything in there), you might be in trouble.

    Good luck!
