I've just found the venue and read the reveiws. It looks amazing but the reveiws are appalling!.
You have to wonder how they get away with it.
Beks, by this next comment I certainly don't mean you shouldn't fight for your money back, you definatley should.
I would have been relieved to have lost the £5k to them so it didn't spoil my wedding day, a lucky escape has been had!
I do quite fancy staying there one night just to see if its as bad as they say tho! Odd i know!0 -
Can someone PM me with the venue so I can have a mooch too!0

And then can you PM me cos i wanna see too!!
Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?0 -
LOL Busterian and bigmomma, will PM both of you nosey peeps!!!
Thanks Loonytoons, rene2b, f-d-f and talulahbeige (yeah that review appeared after we started having problems - wish that had happened to us
)!
Had a bit of a nightmare this week - my daughter broke her arm saturday, been in hospital with her whilst she had an op! She is only 2 so its been a bit of a rough time - getting back to normal now though lol!!!
As for the court business - what a nightmare that has been!!! Still no result!!! We phoned Monday (from hospital LOL!) to make sure the court had received our form (sent by special delivery!). When they checked our file, they said they had no record of it. We asked why and they said the guy who deals with it is on annual leave until next week!!!!!!!!!!:eek::eek::eek:
Our papers are lying in a pile waiting to be opened!!! They said there was big backlog since xmas and they need time to catch up!! OH was not happy on the phone to them. Now we do not even know if a reply from him has been caught up in the backlog and he did actually reply. We also dont know whether if he replies after us, they might still open his first due to backlog!! I hope they have a stamp to mark when the post was received!!! What a nightmare we are having right now!!! :rotfl::rotfl:0 -
