I think it's great - stuff I've collected includes a slow cooker, knitting wool and clothes.
Stuff I've offered and given away was my whole old kitchen when we had a new one - it costs money to dispose of old fridges/freezers as you have to pay the tip to dispose of the refridgerant and as they worked I was glad for ppl to come and get them who needed them! And having all the old kitchen units taken away saved us a trip to the tip, plus, aside from being 80's melamine, they were in good nick and seemed a shame to chuck them.
I think it's a great idea and nearly all the dealings I've had have been trouble free.First time mummy to be and saving the pennies!0 -

Freecycle is great, has saved me a fortune!!
I advertised horse manure on there as I have my horses on private land, and the response was fantastic!!
So many people are starting allotments, I've helped them, but at the same time they've helped me as the Farmers would normally charge me to take it away!!0 -
