  • Had to have a look at bank account after tpotx post but nothing in mine. Refuse to pay any more money to be told there is nobody to take my call so hoping I will get correct amount in my account or a correct amended award notice this week.
  • Hi, I just wanted to come on this thread and post a message as I have just spoken to them about my TC claim - my kids are under 11. Anyhow he mentioned that some claims are not being processed until 3rd NOVEMBER but that mine did not fall into this category!! Maybe these are the claims that ended on 31st August? As this would approx 8 weeks.

I just thought I would mention it as it might be relevant, sorry. :( I've been waiting 10 weeks for mine now, hence my call. The whole thing is a mess!!
  • Also to add that I called at 8.45 and got through right away, other times I have got the 'we are too busy to speak to you at the moment' message and the phone goes dead.
  • Renewals processing and the updates for 16-20 year old are two completely different processes. One wouldn't impact on the other.

OK, I thought I would mention it, some people are not getting theirs until the 3rd November.
  • I am in Scotland and told them my daughter had returned for 6th year in the middle of August. Lady was so nice on the phone, yes that's fine, we'll make sure that's done for beginning of September when it quite clearly hasn't been as my updated award is dated 5th September.
  • afternoon im very confused with this child tax credit stuff if anybody could help would be most grateful, I have 3 boys the eldest left school july started college beginning sept I was getting £164 every Wednesday informed them months ago whats the plans were for him further education. money has dropped by £50 a week I have received saying he is no longer on my claim. why as he is still in full time education. could some one in lighten me please
  • My daughter is still in full time education in college and mine stopped on sept 1st too.
When I rang I got an automated recording saying that if I had a child 16 plus in full time education that I had told them about that the awards would eventually be paid including any back pay due. It is nearly October, anyone else still waiting? I am getting worried
  • I'm still waiting too. Seems to take forever eh
If you change nothing, nothing will change!!
  • I would be calling them after this amount of time.
Should have been sorted by now.
