Oh flipping Nora i normally go into all this sort of stuff but it was a rush booking. I have a very bad phobia about snakes, And struggle with frogs and lizards but can cope with them as long as there about 50ft away, I am not going to sleep now thinking about the geckos and thats before i go. I can see o/h is going to be on night duty for the two wks that we are there:rotfl: Is there anything else i need to know before i go, If i know about things i have time to prepare my self.:o

I understand there is a disco next door is it just for the young People or do you think we may be able to use it, we are in our early 50s but young at heart.

    - sorry for any delay :o

Yes there is a dress code. You cant just wear swim suits in the dining hall or restaurants and men cant wear shorts in the evenings, long trousers are required, although long shorts (below the knee) are usually ok - Think your OH will find it too hot and humid for jeans/denim. Light weight cotton or linen clothes are good.

I couldn't master the slippery, high shine floors in high heels, so had to wear flat/ish shoes.

If you use the pools be careful, as the area around the pools are painted and very slippery.

Although DR is low risk for malaria, we do take anti malaria tables "Avloclor" they taste foul, but better safe than sorry. They are not expensive from Boots etc. The course needs to be started about 1 week before you travel.

Hope you have a fab time - let us know :)
