    Thank you

Even though the beaches & sea isn't as good that side?

who said that . listen . the east coast has the nicest beach , just slightly over the south coast and they both are FAR superior than the north coast beaches

go on tripadvisor and debbies dominican site and choose your hotel . be careful not to read too much into the yanks postings as they really are fussy people

I think I'm safe in saying you won't be disappointed with the beach @ the Iberostar Bavaro! Another plus point is you will be able to go in the sister hotel next door and use the facilities there. You know what you get with Iberostar's... Quality

RIU is great also (mainly booked through TIU) but for the Dom Rep Iberostar wins

As for premium seats I wouldn't pay too much more as economy on charters has improved no end for long haul. You are only getting free drinks, upgraded food menu, a wider seat, tiny bit more leg room (unless you get 1a & 1b :D) priority check in/boarding, 30kilos of luggage pp... think thats it! The price difference is going increase dramatically soon if the tax increases go ahead

    Found this:D

Cheapest price I can find is April £1411 (each).

Bit more than we were planning to spend.

Anyone know where to get it cheaper?

Now I know what I want!!!
Can any Dom Rep regulars recommend me an AI hotel.

My wants are (in order of importance).

    1. A beautiful palm beach & calm very clear warm sea (east or south I guess for this?).

    2. Great food - a good selection of a la cartes in addition to buffet would be idea.

    3. Hubby wants somewhere with an adults only pool (we stayed at the Reef Oasis Blue Bay in Sharm last year & they had one & it was heaven). Adults only hotel would be OK too.

    4. A coral reef & good snorkling, would be a bonus.

    5. We do like day trips & excursions (is the east too far away from everything?).

We hardly drink, so are not worried about bars/nightlife. We don't bother with the evening entertainment - so don't care how dire it is.

Someone told me this place has an adults only pool
