Did the manager call in the end? If not, did you call back?

    We don't ignore written letters.

Send it to Customer Relations, Barclays Bank plc, 1 Churchill Place, FREEPOST, RTLA-CSUE-TCHC, London, E14 5HP. It'll be sorted to the Customer Relations team by the mail room staff. Send it registered if you like.

NID, I would in all honesty just give up, I mean, do you really want to trust your money with an outfit that treats people like that?

Oh I am mate - but i'm curious to know what has happened to my personal data - that's all......

I certainly wouldn't bank with them, but would have used it as a spare account, however not to be the case :D

You're up a early on the forums typing this reply! 6am!

Anyway, I think you should still give them a call to see what happend to your personal data, even though you don't want to account anymore. I find it strange that data sent online can be lost. It rarely happens.

Try calling them today, and go ask to be put straight to the manager, so that you can get a good and instant answer, instead of having the advisor speaking a lot of stuff to you which might not solve the problem.

If you are at work sometime, you might be near town where there is a branch. I guess you could go there and query about it?

Looking forward to the response of the phone call.

Am off tomorrow so will ring then, promise! But they will just fob me off and to be fair, I think writing in with a copy to ICO for boot may solve this fiasco once and for all?......:D

    p.s. start work at 06.30!

It's a good idea to write to ICO.

Say to the advisor that the manger didn't call me back yesterday. They will bound to put you through straight away. :p
