    Awww, the poor shop...
Sorry but what kind of silly comment is that to make? So people should be forced to pay overinflated prices just to keep the shops profits up???
    OK then

People pay overinflated prices for Nike trainers to keep their profit up. I don't see anyone complaining about that. I do think the school the OP is talking about should sell cheap school patches to sew on to cheaper uniform. Most schools do this.

or simply, dont send your child to that school.

if parents choose to send their kids to that school then they must obey uniform rules.

choose= to make a choice from various options.

ill direct my point to op then!

if the policy has just come in then really you will have to consider wether or not to continue sending your child there, if not either save up yearly or buy things on a weekly basis. i doubt the school will change due to a few parents complaining.

OP has already explained that they didn't want to send their children to this school, it wasn't their first choice, it isn't the best school, but it's the one there were allocated.

What part of that do you not understand.?

I think this will explain it better than me,
Can't afford to pay your bills but spending a fortune on your kids uniform? Hmmm
you could have got her uniform at less than half the price and paid the rest towards your debts

We purchased 1 of the school polo shirts with the logo on, then got the remainder from the supermarket.
We found an embroiderer who would digitize the logo and then stitch it onto the supermarket uniform, then post it back to us.This worked out far cheaper than buying 5 polo's & 2 sweatshirts from the school.
Dont think I should post a link, but I can pass on the guys details via pm if anyone wants it. (He's not a relative, honest...lol )

Not nice Amistoso and certainly not on topic. If another poster has fallen on hard times it is certainly not a subject to be ridiculed. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and to say what they think and if you don't agree with it there are other ways to get your point across - this is not one of them.

It would be nice to hear back from the OP to hear how they have got on with the school and if anything has been resolved.

my daughters uniform is a must, where could i have got her uniform at `less than half the price`,,, and why should my daughter suffer.

the most expensive was her shoes,

    1 pair of clarks = £34
4-5 pairs of `cheap shoes - £50+,,,, you do the math.

Yes OP please let us know how you get on.'

Sorry you feel that way, but I think it's very much on topic.
Why should people be forced to pay very inflated prices for uniforms and perhaps end up in debt over it?
I am entitled to post what I wish and I don't intend to run my post past you for your aproval before hand..

thanks for your comments, but we will have to agree to disagree
