    There really isn't any need for a free bar. I've only been to one wedding that had one and we were all really surprised as didn't expect it at all! And as for your MIL.... :eek: You enjoy planning your special day and don't let anyone spoil it for you :j

    We are actually the opposite, we are having a marquee and I want to import booze for free drinks all night (which I reckon at £1500 ish) - however my mother thinks I am insane and thinks I should pay people to run the bar and get a licence!!

    Am waiting to see how much everything else costs! :D
