LOL - I seem to remember saying something about reducing my hours back in September - I've just worked out I'm doing 10 hours tomorrow - I must be mad because I'm really looking forward to it!!!!!!
Need to get my timesheet in for my 2nd job by weekend then I should get some pennies at the end of the month - this will work out a payday mid-month and a payday at the end of the month - I'm looking forward to that........:)

Not too sure how the weightloss will go tomorrow - ended up going to Yorkshire yesterday to a train event with dh - it was near my niece's house so I went round there whilst dh went for another look around trains. On the way home we passed a fish and chip restaurant that catches our eye every time we head in that direction - so we went in and had the special offer of 2 courses (including drinks and bread and butter) It was an enormous portion and was absolutely delicious. I only managed half of mine but I'd pre-ordered creme brulee too - which was also delish. I'm making up for it today with lots of fruit and soup - not too sure what to have for tea yet though. It was so good and all freshly cooked I'll just do some extra exercise to offset it. Think the 80% good 20% not so good rule has come into it's own this week - but I know if I'd have deprived myself I'd have blown it elsewhere.

Had a busy few weeks and not had chance to post or catch up on here.
I've had a lovely weekend, I was spoilt yesterday being taken out for the day finishing with a meal at Jamie Olivers Italian restaurant in Liverpool. Dd headed back to London at midday today and ds went home last night - but it was lovely having both her and my ds together yesterday - Mothers day a day early, but it was a great day anyway.
I'm really enjoying doing the few extra hours at my 2nd job. Hopefully I should hear soon whether or not my contract at school is being renewed. I'm hopeful, but it all depends on budgets!!!
I had some good news on Friday - I was finally discharged from the hospital after 5 years. Things will never work on their own again without intervention treatment I have to do - but I can live with that!! He was a lovely doctor and took time to re-cap everything that happened and why things are as they are, but has noted that if things start to go wrong again, I'm to be seen immediately.
What a difference with asking for time off with this new job too - I wasn't made to feel guilty as I was in my last job.
Just had a lazy afternoon watching old films on tv. I feel strangely sad - not sure why as I've had some lovely days recently - maybe it's empty next syndrome LOL

Oh Milann how nice to hear from you.
Was just thinking about you the other day.
Glad you had a nice time with your two yesterday.
Yah to the extra hours at your second job.
Hope you get your hours renewed at your main job.
Good news on your discharge from the hospital too.

I had a bit of a spending splurge in Ikea last week and immediately felt so bad about it - then I thought 'hang on - things are all going in the right direction' I bought 2 reclining wooden chairs for the garden as the old bench is falling apart. I realised I think I'm taking the urge to get debt free to the extreme and letting it get me down as it is stopping me living. I need to keep the balance right. I'm now owe about £2,800, and this is sooooo much better than it was. I think I just want to get rid of it now the end is in site - must still remember to live though LOL
I'm a little concerned in case my contract isn't renewed, but there are supply lists I can go on and I can ask for more hours with my second job if it isn't renewed, so all is not lost if the school cannot afford to keep me. I'll feel a lot happier when I know though!!
I have been working this morning with my 2nd job, I love it. I took a child out for a walk in it's wheelchair, looking at ducks on the river, giving the mum a break and getting exercise for me as well. Win win all round me thinks!!
Dh has a couple of days off so planning to do some gardening at mils and then go out for a walk somewhere. DH has just discovered a new hobby gio-cash or something - basically following clues online and finding little boxes hidden in the country or park with more clues in. An on-line treasure hunt basically. I go along for the walking and fresh air LOL
Can't believe we have been off a week already - doesn't time fly when your having fun!!
