Weight stayed the same this week. I have to say I am quite pleased with that as I went out for a meal after weigh in last weekend, did a 3 course Valentine Meal and didn't go seimming as often this week. I expected to gain.

I broke up for half term on Friday. DH is off too, I did the house right through yesterday and we have been dismantling the garden today!!! I've mentioned before he has a train track running around it and we have spent the last 4 years 'doing it up' We are now re-arranging it LOL - once it was complete it was a bit like 'WHAT DO WE DO NOW THEN??????????' So a section at a time we are changing things. It shouldn't cost too much mainly just shuffling what we already have and it is keeping us occupied. We've drained the pond, dug up and taken a load of heather plants that were getting too big ad woody to a friends with a much bigger garden than ours. Tomorrow will be digging a conifer out and then deciding where we want the track to run.

I am working on 2nd job Tuesday, I am quite looking forward to it - swimming, McDonalds and bowling with a few 10 year olds and some other carers. I had one of the kids when he was 3 so am wanting to see how he has grown. The kids all have special needs and I am anticipating challenges and fun in equal amounts!!! I am on a training day on Wednesday with them too - not much more than minimum wage but all welcome to the debt free fund, plus another iron in the fire just in case my years contract isn't renewed!!

I was hoping to make a biggish over payment to cc this month but there will be a dentist bill for £195, but at least I'll have the cash to pay it and not having to use more credit to pay for it - every cloud and all that :)

Think I've used muscles I'd forgotten I've got today - been moving rocks, emptying pond and sawing a conifer down - had great fun LOL - there is a lot of satisfaction gutting something to create something new - far more satisfying than just tickling round garden with a hoe - remind me tomorrow when I'm aching everywhere. Bought a tub of varnish and some bird food - so not too costly so far!!!!

Where has the time gone to??

I have had several short sessions with 2nd job which is all good. I've been offered a semi-regular slot of 4 hours most weeks, but will need to train to do this childs medications and feeds before I take it on properly, sharing with another worker so there are always a couple of workers available - just in case one is off ill or anything. I didn't think I'd take to working in people's homes - but it is so different to school/nursery situation - I'm loving it. I do enjoy my work at school, but it can get a bit wearing after being bitten, kicked and spat at for the umpteenth time some days - this is a refreshing change so far!! All I need is some payment from it - haven't recieved a penny yet, but by the end of the month I'll know if I'm ever going to be a millionaire doing this - NOT LOL.

I have been busy doing the garden with dh - had quite a production line going painting his model buildings ready to go outside in the better weather.

The weight loss......... or not - as the case may be!! Over half term I ate out loads at friends homes and meals out I was so close to packing the weightloss lark in and think - so what. I'm less that 2 stone overweight - THATS not too bad. Then I thought about how many packs of lard that actually is.......... and the fact that the doc will probably take me off the HRT when I go back in 3 months if I'm still the same. SO - I re-enrolled to weightwatchers on-line. I didn't weigh myself after half term - but have stayed within my points for the last week and have lost 3lbs since then, this has taken me to the same as I was pre-half term. I am pretty happy that I have managed to limit the damage I did and get back to where I was. I have paid for 3 months up front, which takes me to about the time I'm due back at docs. I'll give it a go - and try to get dh into a healthier regime too.

All being well - I should be able to make an over-payment to my cc next week. Any extra in my account at the end of the school payday month (14th March) will be going onto it - it would be SO good to get it under £2,000 - defo by next if not this month :) It's taking a while bit I can really feel the numbers coming down at last!!
