  • Fantastic that you'll have DD home for the weekend, and if the weather stays like this you'll be able to be out watching the trains :D.
Funny enough I found a pork joint in the freezer from christmas, which this lot had over easter - very yummy from all accounts and masses to go round. I wonder if it was from the same offer.

Wet back to the dentist this morning and had impressions taken of my teeth and another temporary crown put in - hope this lasts longer than the 2 days the last one lasted. Need to go back next Wednesday after the crown has been made properly - hope it fits better than this as it feels massive LOL. The painful part will be parting with the £149. I been to the dentist so often I can honestly say it doesn't make me too nervous.

Roll on tomorrow - payday. I will do some number crunching and get back on course I hope but got an expensive month - dentist and car insurance to pay out of it. But everything is going in the right direction even if it isn't at the speed I'd have liked. But I'm not going to beat myself up about it - I have to live and have some treats out occasionally or else I know I'll blow the lot and end up at square one again.

I lost 1/2 LB on Monday which I was quite pleased about because I didn't feel great with my throat so did no exercise at all and ate stodgy comfort food that was easy to slide down. I was having 3 spoonfuls of honey a day too. I'll cut that back to a spoon a day now as today is the 1st day I've been ableto have enough voice to read the group story at work.

Pottered in the garden when I came home from work - sorted out some weeds and cleared the pots I had cabbage in over winter - we finished the cabbage at weekend it was pretty good but only leaves, it didn't form heads.

DH is having a 'train open day' the weekend after next for members of the club he goes to - no idea how many will turn up  - might be 2 might be 52 - guess who's chief butty and cake maker. Will trowel the OS pages to find some cheap tray bake recipes. I don't mind really just hope it doesn't rain.
