Tidied all house today AND washed and ironed - so can have a day doing something nice tomorrow
Might just potter and maybe have a BBQ from bits in freezer - I know the airport situation is a nightmare for anyone wanting to fly but since we get planes going over here about every 90 seconds on final approach to Manchester - it is bliss - it's so quiet outside - I pottered in garden between tidying today and was lovely - so if there are no flights tomorrow (not seen news tonight) might as well take advantage of it. I can appreciate how upsetting it must be for would be travellers though - nightmare!!
Went to Ikea on spur of moment tonight to look for some shelving we had previously seen - will go well with tables my brother gave us at Easter - they didn't have any in tho - ended up spending £10 on tea there and then another £24 on a tiny table and fold up chair for my kitchen - I've fancied a little table in corner since we had the room done 3 years ago DH said it would look cluttered - but I wanted to try - didn't want to spend silly money though. I saw a table for £9 and a chair for £9 so thought I'd give it a go - I've been half looking since we changed room (also bought a new spatula to stop pans getting scratched) - I'm afraid I'll have to eat humble pie and admit DH was right - have to move it every time I want to get in shoe cupboard - defeating the idea of having somewhere to sit whilst changing my shoes!!!!!LOL LOL!!!!!! - DH is loving it - being right that is - not a common occurance ROFL. SO what started as a promising NSD day - wasn't!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had meatballs and chips for tea at Ikea - just had to be done. So will have to be extra specially good so as not to undo the good week I've had eating wise - but if I'd have deprived myself I know I'd have splurged elsewhere. I'm hoping 'a little of what I fancy' will have kept me on track. I have only had a couple of mini-eggs and a couple of rich tea biccies all week and I haven't wanted any either because I know I want to get in the top I bought last weekend. I planned a little tipple of rose wine this evening but didn't even want them because I'd had my treat at teatime. I'll weight myself on Monday morning so fingers crossed and all that.
Got a very sore throat so hoping I'm not starting with something grotty - will dose up with Manuka honey and lemon.
Have a lovely weekend in the sunshine.

Looks like your peace and quiet is set to continue today as it looks like no planes again today. It must be a nightmare for those wanting to fly like you said - but there is always a silver lining isn't there!
Good luck for the weigh in tomorrow - keep up the good work today!

Was pleased to have lost 3 1/2lb on Monday - just my weigh in I'm not going to any classes or anything just cutting out the carp and smaller portions really. I am so mad with myself for letting the weight creep back on - no excuses - just ate too much and didn't exercise enough!!! But I can do it when I'm of a mind to - trouble is I'm not often of a mind to - It's taken me 4 years to put the 2 stone I lost back on - I'd be happy to loose about a stone and a half and keep it off. I am only 5 ft tall and used to be very slight so I really feel the difference of the extra weight. I will wear that top I bought on holiday without looking too much like a bag of spuds
Had a really bad throat since weekend - virtually no voice left today - at least dh can have a peaceful day. Pity it hasn't affected my appetite - but I haven't even craved for things.
Not a good weekend on MSE front at weekend - a visit to Ikea and then garden centre on Sunday - I didn't spend as much as I would have in the past but still spent more than I intended - hadn't intended spending ANYTHING - spur of the moment trips  I am in denial and haven't added up the spends yetin the grand scheme of things it won't be too disasterous but I will have to keep an eye that I'm not at the start of a slippery slope - buying plants is one of my downfalls
I have bought my dinner this week too - I felt a bit rough with the throat and squeezed every extra minute in bed I could muster - leaving it too late to get my dinner. Must do better, me thinks.
