    i'm hoping for a cooking day tomorrow, but it won't be as good as yours, think mines just going to involve the slow cooker and cramming as much into the big oven at the same time to make best use of the electricity

    That's what spurred me on - using oven for most of the things at same time. Couldn't fit moussaka in so will do that same time as baking tomorrow.

    I was on a course this afternoon which finished earlier than my usual time - I considered going back to work for the last half hour......but only briefly LOL. I decided to go for a swim instead. Must have been some sort of karma for me sciving half an hour - I got to the pool and there were big notices everywhere saying pump on pool was broken and waiting for reapair - serves me right LOL!!

    Hope you manage to find your energy again. It was 8 degrees here today and the sun came out - I even got some gardening done! Made me feel good!

    1) MFW Nov 21 £202K now £171.8K Equity 36.37%
    2) £2.6K Net savings after CCs 10/10/25
    3) Mortgage neutral by 06/30 (AVC £27.9K + Lump Sums DB £4.6K + (25% of SIPP 1.25K) = 34/£127.5K target 26.6% 10/10/25
    (If took bigger lump sum = 60.35K or 47.6%)
    4) FI Age 60 income target £17.1/30K 57% (if mortgage and debts repaid - need more otherwise) (If bigger lump sum £15.8/30K 52.67%)
    5) SIPP £5K updated 10/10/25
