have a great time at DDS ..I'm sure you'll have a fantastic time.0

Back home again - dd is doing ok - she still has a fair way to go but its going in the right direction. Went out for a couple of short walks - even then she had to rest on benches and garden walls along the way but she was determined to finish and not get a taxi as I suggested. Dh came on Thursday and we went a ride out and had dinner - it was good to see her more like her old self and with a bit of colour in her cheeks.
Spent a fair bit of money on little treats fo dd and myself - I will have to take some cash out of my ISA to see me over so that I don't exceed my overdraft - I was hoping I might squeak in there and not have to touch it - but it wasn't to be - not quite the beginning to the year I'd hoped for, but on the plus side I have the £200 in the ISA that I wouldn't have had a year or so ago. SO onwards and upwards!!
The house is FREEZING as we have had the heating off since Thursday and we came home to bits of snow around the place (outside not inside LOL) - I'm sure we'd have been better leaving it on but dh knows best LOL LOL LOL and I wasn't around to tell him otherwise!!
I'm going out for a carvery meal on Wednesday for a friends leaving meal from work - I considered not going but several people I used to work with will be there who I'd like to see - so I'm goin!! It's payday on Friday and next month should be a lot cheaper so hopefully I can get back on track again.

It's been a long day at work today. I couldn't get my head round being back at all today - basically I wanted to be back with dd - but that isn't to be. Sooo I gave myself a talking to and will have an early night tonight and get on with it tomorrow.
Not much to report MSE wise - bought a sandwich at lunchtime - I should have been up in time to sort something out but left it till last minute. I can't get my head around things at the moment. No idea what I'm doing at tea - better go and have a nosey what we have in the fridge.

Good to hear you had a nice time with DD and that she is still on the mend. I agree with the others - you'll settle back to work in due course, don't worry too much.

Thanks guys - just February blues - like SH said a bit of sunshine should help - just got to get past the snow forecast for tonight first LOL. I'm hoping that it doesn't stick again or the forecasters have got it wrong.
Managed a NSD today and carvery tomorrow has been cancelled. On one hand I am pleased as it would have gone on cc but I was quite looking forward to meeting up with a couple of old friends. Never mind always next time - and all the better if it's after pay day...January spends - £587.580 -
I think Feb has been harder than January as well....bring on the sunshine.
Well done on NSD...shame about the carvery but after pay day is def better...0
