Half term is virtually all planned - going for hospital appointment on Monday, Meeting a friend for coffee Tuesday - going to see dd on Wednesday till Sunday. Back to work next Monday - I've got a fair bit of tidying to do and some planning and bits for work. Really need a 2 week half term LOL.
Also had an appointment today for a scope next Friday but I'll have to cancel as at dd's in London - not relishing these appointments at gynae- but if they get the problems sorted will be worth it. After this lot of appointments I'll tell my body enough is enough - let someone else make use of the nhs - I've had more than my moneys worth - it might have it's faults but I for 1 are very grateful for it.
Spending not gone to plan this last couple of days - but not too bad - bought dinner last 2 days and shared a Chinese with dh tonight - £11 altogether out of cash in my purse - nearly empty now though:eek: - will have to reign in if I'm going to make this month work how I'd hoped. I'm not going to beat myself up about it though - had a few stressful days at work, nothing too serious but niggly bits going on and a bit of a personality thing between the team I work with - needed to get out away from it, hense the lunchtime outings. A week off should charge everyone's batteriesJanuary spends - £587.580 -
Hope you enjoy your half term & make the most of it.
We only get three days up here.

Feeling very flat today and fed-up. Not sure why really. Must be that half-way-through-month-and-more-month-left-than-I-want-before-payday feeling me thinks
On plus side NSD again so 10/14 days. I'm pretty pleased with that.
Spent all day in today - think I need to get out for a walk tomorrow. Might talk dh into a ride somewhere.

boy do i know about that middle of the month feeling.
today i'm feeling pretty guilty this week has just been more and more money going out of the door.
started off by looking for replacement/ cheaper broadband and phones, and have now ended up with £10 extra a month going out but it does mean we get the above with Sky. I'm truely not bothered about sky but OH wanted it and i supose i could work at trying to pursuade myself that effectively we're getting sky +HD for a tenner a month.
yesterday we went bed shopping and we now have a new bed on 12 mths interest free credit. Which is making me feel a little uncomfortable, we do have the money in the savings account but thought we may as well get the interest free credit, but it's the first credit i've applied for since i well and truely got stuck into the DF way off life.0 -
LT as long as the cash is there look on it as getting interest for you - the hard thing is remembering the cash is spoken for and not dibbing in (I've fallen for that one before today!!)
Went out with DH today - drove to Blackpool and walked along the seafront - although the sea was so calm it was more like a pond - not a wave in sight. Thoroughly enjoyed the walk but it drizzled on us - blue skies when we left home - although there is a lot of work going on with new sea defences so couldn't walk as far as usual. My aching feet are grateful for that now though. What they have finished working on is looking pretty good so far. Then we drove a few miles up the coast and walked a bit more and had a mooch in a few shops. We were going to come home to eat but I lost all will power and I treated us to a lovely carvery, drinks and a pud for dh - I was bursting and just nicked a bit of his!! Soooooo - that was £25 on my cc for next month. Ah well it was rather yummy!!
I'm struggling a bit the last few days - think these appointments coming up are at the crux of the problem to be honest - logically I know it is just an age thing as tests and scans are showing clear so far - but I'll be glad when they are over with. Crazy I've had worse done but this is really niggling with me - maybe it's cos I thought every thing was sorted and then this AAARRRGGGHHHH!!!!
Roll on Wednesday when I go and see dd to see how she is now.
Take no notice of my ramblings - just a bad day which will pass quickly - it usually doesJanuary spends - £587.580 -
Phoned hospital today to re-book appointment for scope on Friday as I'm at dd's. Just happened to ask if I still needed the appointment which I'd booked on line for this afternoon or if the new appointment cancelled it out - it cancelled it out but I'd had a phone meaasge reminding me about it a couple of days ago and there was nothing in the letter to tell me it took place of the appointment I already had - ARRRGGGHHHH - at least I checked it out and saved myself time and effort. SO now I go next Friday for scope and consultation all at the same time which is much better..
Off for a coffee with friend now and won't have to rush cos of hospital appointmet

Sure visit to dd will be good - we are both really looking forward to it.
Think I have the art of procrastination down to a fine art - should be doing stuff for work but have it set around me all over floor and I've scuttled over to puter instead - just checking fof course for very important snippets thatcannot be missed LOL.
WHY did I decide to stick kids glittery pictures in children's record books though - every time I get books out - I cover my floor with it ARRRGGGHHH - mental note not to stick glittery piccys in books next year- seem to say that every year though LOL
