I hope the tests today go ok and aren't too uncomfortable for her. It must be a relief to know that some of the nastier things have been ruled out.
Thinking of you all

They found an area of dds intestine that looks inflamed so have taken biopsies. A ct scan has been ordered for Mon. Spoke to her on the phone and she sounds much brighter as some of the tubes have also been removed. I wish i was still down there though - they are trying to get to the bottom of things for her - but hospital staff need holidays too which is why it is all taking so long. Some low-life stole her phone today too, which has peed me off cos I feel a long long way a way from her without texts.
I went for a scan too today and the cysts that were there a few weeks ago were nowhere to be seen today - I was pleased about that.
A friend has just been and we have polished off a bottle of wine between us before she headed back home - a nice surprise because I haven't seen her for ages.
Here's to 2010 everyone,.
I am planning 14 NSDs in January - starting tomorrow!!
Thanks for your good wishes everyone

Had a really lazy day today - lots of paying wii games. Not impressed with the wii nutrition though - very Americanised. Not what I expected and I quite fancied it. Will have another look at it tomorrow incase I'm not looking at all the options.
I am going to attempt half an hour a day on my wii - I did this last year and it kept me motivated with my weight for ages :j- then I had had a break for some reason - can't even remember why now - and didn't get back into it . Am going to get back into going for a swim again straight from work a couple of times a week.
Jacket potatoes in oven and will do pork escalopes in breadcrumbs to use up some bits of bread and a mystery salad from various ingredients lurking at the bottom of the fridge. Why-o-why did I make a big Christmas cake - just got to eat it now. Will limit myself to a piece a day LOL
You might have guessed my aim for 2010 is to look after myself - the targets are
-continue to chip away at finances. 2010 will be my debtfree year if I shape myself- thus improving my stress levels
-eat healthier with less wastage - means being disciplined and cooking for just me and oh and not as if I still have family at home
- become more active - don't want to set unachievable goals - but will aim to do 'some' exercise EVERY day  - then increase it gradually :D
- organise myself:D:rolleyes::D:eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:might even get round to planning for longer than a day
:o:o
- learn to chill - not get harrassed especially with work situation
Those steps look quite straightforward - we'll see- better put one in about positive thinking too
:D:D
